The Official 2pac Versus Biggie Thread...

To say "So if Biggie is so great when is he going to have a season or did it pass and I missed it?" makes me lol, everyone knows that 2Pac gets more love than Biggie, as well as other rappers that are great such as Nas and Jay-Z. 2Pac is more of an Icon than Big ever was, and will ever be.

Props to HLF for deleting that racist shit

Ditto although on here you would think by the worship given that Biggie was the 2nd coming of Christ as he has a dedicated pantheon of follower that will do anything to force you to beleive in Biggie as they do shit they compose titangraph love odes to him all the time...

Image-wise, 2Pac is the most emulated Hip-Hop artist of all time. If there was a 'Biggie season', that would be an interesting era to be a part of, minus a few aspects that is, lol.

Actually, the lines Jay took from Biggie outweigh the Bonnie & Clyde song, as well as few loose rhymes bit from 2Pac

But a thread about 2pac's influence on Hip-Hop and how often he was bit lyrically would be a great thread, we already got one about Biggie that i resurrect every now and then.

Treach's Song was way more sincere to me considering Biggie was Sent to the slaughter By Puffy, Faith has long since seperated from Biggie and was fucking many different kats and overall they just bit a Previous successfull song to ride its nostaligia...

Of course rappers wannabe like Tupac and emulate Tupac.

Tupac was a sex-symbol, movie-star, rap-star, Nu-African Panther, and a multi-platinum rapper.

Tupac was loved in the streets and hated by the white-establishment.

Tupac has his songs in the Library of Congress and his songs are studied in the halls of Ivy league institutions, his songs are on the Vatican playlist.

Tupac was engaged to Quincy Jones daughter and his mother was a Black Panther, his Step-father Mutulu Shakur was a revolutionary along with his God father Geronimo Pratt and Aunt Assata Shakur.

Tupac wasn't afraid to address social-topics and political topics, he wasn't afraid to stand up for what he believed in even if it meant shooting somebody or fighting off robbers.

Tupac was proud of his culture and heritage, he never cursed his color or used deviant sicko rhymes to impress weirdos.

Every rapper wants to be loved and worshipped like Tupac but nobody wants to be an obese self-loathing, woman-beating glutton who surrounded himself with fags and rapped about fag shit and ate buckets of fried-chicken fully nude in rooms filled with men.

you crushed alot of biggie groupies feelings on this

I forgot to mention Treach's Tribute. Definitely one of the best directed towards Pac. But I have to disagree with it being better than "Ill Be missing you"..Regardless if Puff's Tribute wasn't as sincere and heart felt like "Mourn you till I join you" (if that's your arguement) Ill be missing you is definitely the better song IMO

Easy, because Pac is the greatest rapper to ever grace a mic. Even with his flaws, he manages to stay on top. BIG a legend and has a huge place in rap but duke is not tupac.
