Yea, "Purple Rain" is Prince's biggest LP. But "Thriller" released 2 years eariler was MJ. It just seemed MJ was on another planet. It's not that pPince wasn't talented cause he was. MJ just had us at Hello and we stayed with him until he died. Prince grew on people but he's still an Icon and Legend. But MJ is like "GOD" status, the man just impacted the world on a level that Prince did not do. I love them both but I have to go with MJ, Jackson 5 and Solo career is enough for me to put him over Prince.

Yeah Thriller is still to this day, the biggest selling album ever!
After 27-28 years after it's first release it is still the best selling album!
And it only had 9 songs on the album, 7 was on the charts and hit number 1 at least once.
Prince get down but sometimes his music is too weird for me.
Prince put out more albums then MJ but, Mike was still making money and breaking records with one album.
And look at the global respond to them, MJ goes over seas and sells out shows to people that can't speak English but they know the words to his songs.
They was fainting at his concerts, after selling out concerts in The U.S. with his BAD tour, he went and broke records overseas.

Biggie is a Top 3 storyteller in Hip Hop History. Slick Rick and maybe NaS are the only ones seeing him. Along with G Rap. Biggie went to a private school during his elementary years and public during his middle and high school years. Just cause his mom was a teacher doesn't mean they didn't struggle. You dudes act like Teachers make great saleries when they have some of the worst saleries in the U.S. Ms. Wallace of course is going to say everything was perfect and great cause she did the best she can as single mom. Also when Biggie talks about the struggle he also talks about his enviroment and what he saw living in Brooklyn. There was also a period when his moms kicked him out and he was living on the streets for almost a year. House to House, 1 room shacks and Tupac's Couch.

Biggie lost the Demo battle cause that was raw/uncut Biggie. His songmaking ability was not polished yet so he would just spit bar after bar. Once that demo got into the right hands the rest was history. Again show me a video of Tupac rhyming this good at the age of 17? Biggie came up from battling on the streets of New York, Hip Hop's Birthplace how most emcees get their start:
