There are plenty of good songs on AEOM. At least you're mentioning "Shorty Wanna Be a Thug" so that's alright but there are more than just those songs. "Can't C Me", "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted", "I Ain't Mad at Cha", "Got My Mind Made Up", "Life Goes On" are all dope besides the ones you mention but yeah you're right that AEOM has plenty of filler. (Disc 2 specially)

And why you keep mentioning Death Certificate? I think it's the best hip-hop album ever and all but what does it have to do with this topic though?

Because these cats keep talkin bout content and influence when pac was not the only rapper who made songs wit social issues and content

Death certificate was released before any pac album and It had specific content about the black community.

Pac didnt influence ice cube at all and this album is better than any social song/album pac ever made thats why I mentioned it

Niggas act like pac is god and he did everything that all the other rappers didnt do.Like homeboy said its a messiah complex

There are not plenty of good songs on aeom either, thats one of the worst double cds ever

NO FUCKING DOUBT AT ALL. while nyc niggas was making shitty as boom bap pots and pans type beats niggas like ant banks, studio tone, and every body else u previously listed were making history. next thing i know u will be trying 2 compare the success of bad boy to death row at its peak. there is no comparision. get ur feelings outta the way nigga. deal in FACTS!!!!!!!!

Dr. Dre >>> every other hip-hop producer in existence, only Premo comes close but since Dre has reinvented his sound and continued to remain relevant both artistically and commercially I think he edges it out.

And g-funk > boom bap, just my opinion.

There is no doubt that Dr Dre is the most commercially successful and influence producer but in terms of beats get real bruh all those people i listed are better and you know it.

Did anyone EVER say Pac influenced Cube, though? I'm yet to see it. Pac himself would admit and mention all the rappers that have influenced him... Ice Cube, N.W.A, Paris, KRS-One, Public Enemy, Scarface and so on.

And as a Pac fan, I don't think he's some God or anything of that sort but he's one of the greatest ever but not the GOAT to me. And I disagree with AEOM being one of the worst double CDs, to me it's one of the best up there with Underground Kingz.

I disagree. Dre has been pretty diverse and his sounds have never played out. I think his most underrated (and best) beat N.W.A's "Real Niggaz Don't Die" is better than 95% of other producer's discography.

At least youre a rational pac fan which is rare.To me he was mediocre/average at best

I dont need to listen to rappers to get social issues and content so I couldnt care less if a rapper talks about that more than another

Niggas keep using that as an excuse to say he was better than biggie when truthfully biggie destroys pac in every technical category u can compare mc's in

Like I said if u want a real comparison compare biggie and nas

When it comes to beats its totally opinion I respect your opinion I have always been in to darker East coast beats (Rza my favorite producer) and I rock to havoc alot never really got into G Funk at all.

thats the difference. every1 from cali, to atl, to det, to nyc banged dre at some point. whether it was some nwa, or snoop, or em, or 50. dre has had his fingerprints on all of the classic shit regardless of era, region, or style. niggas like rza, pete rock, and most ohter east coast prooducers are just that east coast producers. they only work w/east coast cats and there sound isnt that relevent west of jersey or south of dc. dre's music is nationwide and has been for decades. dre's catalog, influence, innovation, creativity, commercial success, and track record speaks 4 itself. he crushes every other producer in the history of the game. i dont see how any1 can disagree w/that.

It's well known Pac made this claim. At first I was like, 'You and Big sound nothing alike,' but then I realized it's true that RTD is all about death like MATW. Do you see any similarities?
