even though things didnt happen the jay told him he still tips his hat to the man MUSICALLY ... he just questions his character ... HE IS GOOD HE HAS ASSETS AND INVESTMENTS ... he made moves 15years before jay touched a million my dude ...
read the interview and give the man some type of due quit trying to automatically shit on niggas ... he did a lengthy bid came home made moves and is right back on his way to touching the millions he touched in the streets in a legit fashion ...

You talkin' about them bitter dudes who since they can't cash in no more all of a sudden they wanna say some shit right? But it's the same with EVERY RAPPER. But if you look at the FACTS of EVERYTHING that's been said and claimed shit really doesn't add up with Jay-Z and alot of other rappers.
But like i said i said the same shit about 2 of my favorite rappers of all time so dont think im saying this cuz i hate Jay-Z or some shit. I believe this is the case wiht 98% of these rappers. The problem is that niggas wanna call rappers who they dont like fake, but cant be men enough (even though they not teenagers anymore) to say taht they fav rapper prolly aint tough/hard/gangsta/drug dealer either.
You'd be suprised to find out that DJ Quik got more rep than most of your fav rappers.
Jay probably wasn't out there like that...almost no rapper is. Most shit he probably did was flip a lil work out of state. An ounce, half a kilo if he lucky type nigga. I never thought he was a king pin.
And if he did tell Calvin he'd look out, then that's wrong. My only guess, is maybe somebody got in his ear & told him it was a bad look.
I mean think about it from Hov point of view. Imagine if it was you.
1995: You graduate from High School. You and your 4 niggas out there selling dope. Yall getting a lil bit of money. One of yall get murked, the other nigga get killed too. The other 2 get caught with LONG ASS BIDS. You make it out unscathed.
2004: You managed to launch a company. You've turned it into a Multi-million dollar firm. You got rich by basically pumpin poison on the airwaves.....because of this, eventhough you're rich, you got a bad perception in the media. (i.e. Jay aint never running for Office)
2011: You just starting to move away from that "street image". You can go kick it with Oprah. President Obama got your number. You're rubbing shoulders with America's elite. A CEO of a successful company. Your wife is one of the most successful music acts in the last 20 years. You got philanthropic organizations all across the world. Your name is synonymous with success in the urban community. You not "just" a gangsta no more.
Both yall niggas get out of Jail. They still "rough" around the edges. Neither of them niggas gonna want a background position. They gonna want somethin with clout (i.e. getting money). No Calvin from Paid in Full type shit.
Would you really want to go back to having that kind of negativity around you again?
Think about it from Hov's perspective bruh...
