Damn that's crazy Akon had to put Calvin Klein on to legit business cause Jay didn't do shyt for him when he got home. It's not against the law to give a felon a job so they can become a tax paying civilian and function in society. Wow. Calvin is good now though. It's funny how God works in situations. Imagine if Calvin wasn't a strong minded person. That's why it's always best to walk through the flames so you can come out like new gold, cause you never know what opportunities are waiting for you at the end.

hold up did Jay sign a new contract with Def Jam cuz he owed them albums that s what the Blueprint 3 blah blah was about. It was the last album he owed them

that may very true actually. im not clear on that. but all that kingdom come, american gangsta, and BP3 stuff was after all the things that pertain to this topic tho.

ill look it up to see if it ties into the split but im pretty sure it doesnt. that was just jay Z doing his thing. maybe him retiring with the black album was also a ploy to convince dame and biggs that it was over ... but im pretty sure the black album concluded the roca fella def jam distribution deal

Wendy: You’re fighting is what’s right.

Klein: I have investors right now that make moves for me, and that's what he had: people who believed in him and were willing to make moves for him to get him to where he's at right now.

*******

Aint that what i've been tellin you niggas on the IC for mad long now? I keep tellin y'all these rappers are MADE, CREATED etc. The image the everything is CREATED by dudes like him. That's how they become "credible" to you sheeps.

But of course Jay-Z fans will brush this one off. But when it's other niggas gettin' exposed by their old homies its true.

That Wendy girl was on dudes dick tho. Just cuz you had niggas sayin' your name in the streets don't make you no damn hero or activist. Black ppl gotta stop thinkin' that. Niggas can't just say "im a different person" all the time, you niggas gotta grow a brain (yeah i said grow a brain). Apart from the Jay-Z story he contradicts himself, nigga you proud of bein' a "gangsta" or are you REALLY a "changed man"? And Jimmy Hencman ain't no good example either.

Of course it is. I can't say he NEVER sold drugs cuz even Snoop sold drugs a lil bit, but Snoop grew up as a church boy. Anybody can sell drugs. TRUST ME i know (and i bet you do too) i know so many cats niggas who ain't hard or tough at all but they've sold drugs. With Snoop the dude who invested and created his image was C-Styles, who also is from Long Beach. You can catch him in alot of Snoop's videos back in the day. Same thing with Jay-Z, Jeezy etc etc.

That's how they get "credible". It's because of these real gangstas or whatever invest in them and create an image for 'em. Now i could care less about these gangsta dudes cuz they not doing no good in the community but truth is truth.

You have one niggas words against another mans words, but somehow you side with Calvin Klein word like it's the truth even though numerous niggas have attest to Jay being in the streets. It seems to me you have your views already and CK is only affirming it.

Just like niggas sided with cats who said the same shit about 2pac, about Nas, about The Game, about 50 Cent, about Lil' Wayne, about Young Buck, about Dre etc etc. And they have always been called "fake" after that. But all of a sudden now cuz it's Jay-Z it's a problem and he still the "realest out"?

Give examples nigga, or your just a gossiping ass nigga. Jazo said Jay was in the streets, so did Irv Gotti, and numerous other niggas!

LOL @ Irv Gotti. How the fuck you gon' name some damn CEO about who was in the streets? You might as well ask Puffy. SMH.

Jaz-O also said Jay-Z wasn't in the streets. So he said both. However Calvin Klein was the REAL street dude. Jaz-O was more of a rapper compared to Calvin. I mean Calvin invested in him and has a big rep in the streets. I dont know too much about Jaz-O but we can all agree that he wasn't on CK's level.

My point however is that when shit like this gets reported about other rappers they're IMMEDIATELY written off as "fake", but when it's Jay-Z niggas wanna argue. Including you. Let's face it Jay-Z has created a big brand for himself and he is a talented MC i will say, but he's not no street dude.

But if you read my first sentence i did say "I can't say he NEVER sold drugs" cuz anybody can sell drugs. Snoop ain't no gangbangin' super crip but he sold drugs for a lil while but Snoop wouldn't hurt a fly back then. So anybody can sell a drug.

But that image Jay-Z has created as this big drug dealing big willy with tons of weight in the streets is HELLA FAKE. Just be honest.

It's the same thing Ice Cube and 2pac are 2 of my favorite MC's of all time but i know they weren't no gangstas back in the day. Does that mean that they NEVER sold drugs or didn't have it hard growing up? Hell no. But they were not gangstas, thugs or had that pull in the hood.

Because he INVESTED in him goofy nigga. And he put time and effort into building/helping Jay-Z. Read the damn interview. You act like dude been runnin' a campaign about this shit. He's been quiet about the whole Jay-Z shit for YEARS.

But again don't take me wrong i could give a fuck about these dudes. These dudes (street dudes) are not positive role models or activist but neither are rappers. They're all out for themselves no matter what they say. My point is that niggas shouldn't be fooled.

who said jay was never in the streets ...?

Its obvious u know nothing about that lifestyle because if u did u would know its different levels and positions of street niggas ..

only thing calvin is saying is that HE was the man that jay is vividly spitting about in the both about the big willie heavy weight shit ... he never said jay wasnt in them streets ... shit he gave jay cred by saying he took a attempted murder charge and paid the money to have jay dropped from the case ....

Exactly. But don't have these niggas fooled thinkin' Jay-Z caught a body. He meant that he got involved in the case cuz he was rollin' with CK alot during those days.
