The Heat are built like the Wizards squad that just got broke up. Their best players are from the 1/2, 3, and 4 (Gil, Caron, and Jamison), everyone else was blah. The only difference is that this Heat squad is more heralded and talented at the top 3 positions, so that'll get them more wins.

The top 3 will get their points, but the supporting cast has to do their thing for the team to be successful. If one has an off night, and you double up on the other, you allow one of the three to score, and the bench needs to make up for the rest. If they don't, then can beat them. Plus I think this Heat squad is better defensively, but that remains to be seen; that Wizards squad didn't play any D for 5-6 years and only shot the J and never dumped the ball inside. They were too predictable to defend against. But if J was falling, then you got a game. If the Heat's J is falling, lights out.

Boston wasn't exactly on they A game either , but you could see how their superior depth overcame that. The Heat roster needs a lil more work.

see I cant really agree with that, where could have the C's played better? They shot well, moved the ball well, the Big 3 all got theirs, and made clutch shots. Shaq played good. The Celtics Ill give a B+

If you give the Celtics a B+... then you do agree with me.

The reason I say they weren't on their A game is because they slipped defensively at the tail end of the 3rd quarter and the 4th quarter.

In all honesty... They could've blew the game wide the fuck open had Paul Pierce not came with his usual big game dramatics. He put in something like 11-12 points after his "injury".

They need to play Big Z more. He can shoot so that would give Bosh more space to operate on the block. When Big Z was on the floor the Heat played better.

They were up by 19 at one point and almost lost so of course the didn't play perfect but Pierce and Allen hit some big 3's and KG hit some long J's, and big baby did too, they shot 46%, I just don't see alot of imrpovement on that performance, while the Heat on the otherhand need to shoot above 37%
