Yea seager should be the ROY unless he gets injured.Royals should make the playoffs cuz they still have their core intact but their pitching is my only concern cuz they've lost some key bullpen and starters from the last 2 world series squads.I think the AL wide open astros and rangers should be good this season and frisco the team I think people sleeping on.

I think KC's offense carries them this year. They will dominate them small parks on the road in the 'offs. SF is favored to win the NL West by a lot of people. I can't really say they are being slept on. I agree with ya on Astros and Rangers. This year is gonna be a goat year. MLB is becoming my favorite sport.

I'm talking bout as far as winning the NL pennant.I think they're just as strong as the cubs are on paper

and yea I'm hyped for this season there's an influx of young talent in both leagues, the NL got some squads & the cubs have a strong chance of getting to the World Series.

So much money has been put on the Cubs that the odds have dropped down to 4 to 1 for them to get them diamonds. Glad I bet earlier in the off season.

nevermind, i just read the penalty for managers excessively delaying the game by several seconds two or three times a game is a visit from the umpire that will take even longer

why have a clock in the first place if theres no punishment on these things

they wont speed up the game any

smh

Thats the funny shit what umpire gonna be on his 10th warning telling the manager dont do it again im warning u lol

two years ago ian desmond turned down a 7yrs/107mil deal to see if he could earn more on his contract year which he ended up doing terrible in -- this offseason he turned down the nats QO of 1yr/15.8mil -- sunday he signed with the rangers for 1yr/8mil and he will probably have to move to lf because texas already has an incumbent ss in elvis andrus

i think he and hsi agent saw the yankees as a good landing spot for him and banked on him getting the big deal but the yankees ended up trading for starlin so ian was screwed

his agent did him no favors, he lost money twice and now he has 3 things working against him this season

1. he has to rebuild his value at age 30 when most players are trending downwards

2. has to play in a different league

3. has to learn how to play a new position

man

no appeal

probably made an agreement on that with mlb

30 in the nba hurts but in a 162 game season it aint shit

they got miller and betances to fill that gap and then theyll have chapman for the last 132

That was a good look by the royals extending his contract and giving him more dough cuz the contract he had was less than bullpen specialists get paid he clearly was worth more

i copped some tickets right above the white sox dugout for the home opener

lol im going to wait to unleash my fury on adam laroche until his first super slow motion mute skulk back to the dugout after taking a called third strike -- if, at the time of said (inevitable) occurrence, laroche has been at least somewhat okay in his previous games, i will give him a couple more at bats, if it occurs on his third plate appearance, i will begin yelling from above the dugout for his release

im sure theres a reason for this but i dont know why csn or other networks wouldnt air cubs spring training earlier than they do

i would think there would be a strong viewing audience as far as ST goes

especially compared to what else is on in the middle of a weekday

ive been looking around for any favorable articles to hype me up about my white sox and i found one

Grading the Offseasons for All 30 Teams

http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/grading-the-offseasons-for-all-30-teams/

4. Chicago White Sox

Grade: B+

Last year, the White Sox tried to push in on contention a bit early, and ended up with a disappointing roster. This year’s moves to solidify the depth of the organization seem to have gone a bit better, with the Todd Frazier trade in particular representing a big upgrade at a minimal price. While they’re certainly betting against the importance of team chemistry by bringing in both Brett Lawrie and Mat Latos — the acquisition prices there reflect the poor reputations those guys have around the league — the White Sox managed to solidify some very weak spots from last year, and while I’m still not sure they’re quite good enough to win their division, they’ve at least put themselves in striking distance.

The Frazier trade alone was enough to call this a good winter, and if Lawrie or Latos live up to the potential suggested by their talent, the risks they took could pay off in a significant way.

please be good this year

the entire body of position players is now, at minimum, competent

ajax isnt gordon or cespedes but now the hole in OF is filled

the holes at 2b, 3b, and ss have been filled

dh is really the only position left of serious concern but if they platoon avi and laroche it could work because avi is very solid against lefties which is an obvious major weakness for laroche

the wait to april 4th just got much longer
