as for the players the white sox are giving up to the dodgers
micah johnson
trayce thompson (hes klay brother)
frankie montas
micah johnson is starting to become an old prospect and i think probably has to move to center -- at 25 years of age -- not sure how much value is/was there but he is a career .300 minor league hitter and he did steal 80 somethiong bases in the minors several years back but he did look over matched during his time here
trayce thompson, i really liked what i saw from him, he was tagged as the best defensive OF in the white sox system so it was surprising to see him hit .295 when he was called up -- he looked good doing it too he had the best approach at the plate and that includes jose abreau -- he could be one of those late bloomers due to being a HS pick and for someone who was said to not have been all in on baseball in hs but the fact remains he was just a .240 hitter in 7 minor league seasons combined -- at the very least makes for a nice 4th OF
montas is destined for the bullpen due to having only two pitches (fastball and slider) -- he makes for a dominant 8th/9th inning guy -- he can get it up to 100 but the white sox were working on teaching him to let up some because it would come out flat when he reached back -- that kyle farnsworth shit
might look back and see an over pay if montas can pick up a 3rd pitch, harness his control and stick as a starter, trayce continues to improve and if micah stays healthy and improves his defense or reaches his offensive ceiling
