On the theme of hood vs suburban it's amazing how we go to school for 12 years but aren't educated on applicable health concepts as far as the foods we actually eat. We only learn about it at home through parents or after we are older on our own through self education and access to information.

Most parents in the hood aren't well off and thus didn't have access to information or even time that parents who are well off have. They're focus is surviving....and finding a bit of comfort in the poverty.

In effect the hood stays uneducated and stays targeted with cheap garbage foods that have bad health consequences by those willing to profit at the expense of life. We're more educated on how to figure out how to pay than how to choose what to spend on.

Information is power and it's better for the poisoners to profit that a segment of the populous ( e.g. hood) stays dumb...and paying while not educating their kids/future generation on how to choose. It won't fly in suburbs with people who have more access to information and more time to devote to things higher than the survival level.

Well if it isn't obvious enough, I started out as a sheltered Suburbanite. I had to learn a lot of things the hard way, and often a tad bit late.

We've spoken about my success before -- I was able to flip a lot of the obstacles my household presented ( yes, even in the Suburbs ), and I taught myself most all of the skills I know employ to make way more than most people twice my age, let alone other millennials.

I made myself a hybrid. Things didn't just fall into place for me, because Suburbia doesn't mean better, not always. I had to make them happen. Had to figure out how to grow, evolve, surpass..

No such thing as Suburban vs. Hood. Generally speaking, most of our parents grew up in the hood, and pretty much all of our grandparents grew up in the hood. We're all from the same struggle, it's just some of us escaped that part of it quicker than others.

Everything being discussed in this thread is silly stereotypes, and only speaks to the individual's experience. I've never asked nor cared where a nigga came from, it was more a judgement on their character and morals.

Nah it's not worth it to me. You might have better luck.

The flavor isn't smooth. I went so far as to pour the fruit juice through a strainer to get rid or all the pulp. I damn near blended and entire pineapple and barely got anything out of it but like a cup after the most of the pulp was gone...added a little vodka and to make a long story short i ended up pouring it out. it tasted horrible.

When I tried blueberries and strawberry it was a little better but nah. Way too much work. I might try the crystal light idea tho.
