lmao...how is a nigga underrated if he NEVER really made an impact not only on his team but the entire LEAGUE.....how is the "second best center" not even on the all star team in the weak east?.....why is nobody other than Orlando even interested in him off he's so good?.....Bynum has proven that when healthy and focused can carry a team and dominate......Lopez has only proven so far that he can score for a big man

who the fuck is watching games of a team that only won 22 times last year.....lmao.....yall act like they was exciting to watch win or lose..

It's not so much as you should have watched the games as much as it is you just proved that you have no right to have an opinion on this discussion b/c you haven't consistently watched Lopez as well. Any opinion you'd have would be biased.

On the other hand I've used many stats in this thread to back up my claim that the gap between Lopez & Bynum isn't that wide but as usual Laker nuthuggers & supporters fight logic w/ emotion.

Um, Net fans?

Which is exactly why you dont know wtf you're talking about?

Since you basically admitted to not watching any Nets game, making your whole argument null, void and full of biased.

Oh, good day dunny!

Devin Harris was not a playmaking PG

Brook is gonna thrive with a full season under Deron

I agree, I love that we have him in Atlanta since he is a PnR PG but he's not a playmaker at all. He would still be in NJ or Utah if he was.

Why niggas in here acting Bynum is a combination of Dennis Rodman/Ben Wallace on the boards when he has a career average of 7 rebounds per game. Jus like Lopez has a career average of 7 rpg. Just saying.

ATL is the perfect fit for Devin Harris. As long as he's the back up. But his scoring abilities seemed to have taken a downfall, maybe some of those injuries caught up to him. But I think he'll be fine in Atlanta, instant offense. Can shoot and take it to the rack.

Its because Bynum is a Laker

I fully expect one of these fools to say some next shit

"And Rick Fox was a better player than Gerald Wallace too"

You realize Bynum finally made the all star team for the first time this past season? He's been in the NBA for 7 years. Lopez been in the league for 4 years is it ok if Lopez gets that same grace period?

Bynum didn't start playing close to his potential until his 3rd season. Not to mention he got hurt half way through that breakout season. Then Bynum practically was the lakers 4th option picking his spots and not having to worry about carrying a team. Meanwhile Lopez never touched the ball without a double or triple team all while playing with the likes of yi, Johan petro, Bobby Simmons etc.

Lopez has never had questions about his motivation and focus to play. Lopez never mentally checked out of a game when things weren't going his way. He never showed up or embarrassed his coach in front of everybody.

I'd a lot closer than you laker fans think.

Not to mention he played in the Rookie and Sophomore games his first two years during the All-Star Break and was third in voting for Rookie of the Year

He would be a starter. We need someone who can run the PnR at a high level. Horford has been the best PnR player for two seasons not including last year. Harris is the perfect fit for him for what's available.

Was just thinking about this the other day. the only thing that separates the two is rebounding which is a major flaw in Lopez game. Its pretty much a wash if you look at every other aspect of their games.

thats a pretty big "flaw"... you said rebounding like it wasn't one of the 3 most important things a big man HAS to do. It's not a knock on lopez saying that bynum's better than him, but I don't see how anyone could argue this...

hence the use of the word major..

Bynum averages 26 minutes a game for his career and Lopez averages 35. You telling me in 9 minutes of play that Lopez can't grab one more rebound?? Brook Lopez was also 3 years older than Bynum was in his rookie year with college experience so those stats are skewed as fuck.

They're both the same age right now. Who is better? Brook Lopez doesn't do anything better than Bynum from a basketball standpoint other than having a little more range.

So we blaming Kris Humphries for Lopez averaging 6 rebounds per game in his last 82 game full season (2010-2011) when Humphries averaged 10.4 rebounds per game? But last year Pau Gasol also averaged 10.4 rebounds per game and Drew still managed to grab TWICE as many rebounds per game than Lopez in 8 less minutes. Not to mention Bynum shot 55% on 3 less shot attempts than Lopez as he was playing next to a guy with the most shot attempts in the league.

This is coming from someone who doesn't even care about stats. My eyes tell me that Bynum is far superior.

Lopez is good no doubt. He's a top 5 center but right now he's not better than Bynum and Bynum has a much higher ceiling. Be objective.

first off I'm not a Laker fan...second off I'm sorry you and Spyda have had the joy of watching Nets games for the last 4 years to even make these "opinions" of your more valid than mine...third of all i NEVER said i didnt watch any Nets games I CLEARY asked wtf wants to watch a team that only won 22 games last year espeically with the "second best center in the league" not even playing?...aside from that I've heard these "Brook Lopez is a beast" chatter for some time especially when he had his 20ppg game season a couple yrs ago and have checked him out and IN MY OWN OPINION he aint nothin special..he can score for a big man but he hasnt even averaged a double for a season(something Bynum has done TWICE...once in a injury shortened season)....how many games do i have to watch of him and the Nets to form as unbiasied an opinion on this disscussion as you have(since clearly your an bigger expert on Mr. Lopez than I am)?....really do I need to get NBA league pass and watch all 82 next year and then rejoin the disscussion?
