Y'all adding your feelings and other shit into this. I can't stand bynum either and that nigga isn't the best teammate but when he's at full health d12>bynum>the rest. Good looks to whoever mentioned gasol, I'd definitely take him over lopez, he's 3rd in the league easily....

If Bynum was on the nets he wouldn't look nearly as good considering he benefits from having Kobe out there. Lopez was putting up numbers while being double and triple teamed playing with bums like yi, bobby simmons, trenton hassel, and jarvis hayes.

you say that like bynum is getting open looks and kobe is lobbing the ball to him on some cp3/tyson chandler shit. Most of bynums scoring comes in the post and he gets double teamed also. If you're the only offensive option on a team it's usually EASIER to put up big numbers, word to chris bosh in toronto.... bosh's last 4 years in TO, 24/10, 24/10,22/8,22/10

he's definitely better than lopez but you can't hold that whole "means more to his team shit" against him when he plays with kobe...

Dog don't take Bynum's best season & use it as bible. B/c if I used Lopez's best season his stats would be 18.8 ppg & 8.6 rpg. Brook Lopez four years into his career averages 17.4 & 7.5 (and that's even with the 3.4 & 6 rpg years).

Over Bynum's 7 yr career he's averaged 11.7 ppg & 7.8 rpg.

4 years in--like Lopez--Bynum averaged (actually I won't even count his abysmal rookie season, I'll go years 2-5) 12.55 ppg & 8.1 rpg.

So yeah. He had a good year this year but stats don't lie. Kobe wanted him gone not too long ago for a reason.

Shit when you look at his stats this is actually his first season worthy of all the hype he's been getting the past couple years. Ppl been saying Bynum for Howard is the best possible trade for 2-3 years now but if you had the stats in front of you & said Bynum is >>> Lopez before this season you'd look silly as all hell.

forgodsakes..... lopez is balling out on the nets shitty ass nets...

if bynum was on the nets he probably would look like a superstar

nets is shitty as fuck lets see lopez do that on a contender....

niggaz tend to forget bynum is balling out next to kobe and gasol

nigga shut up

Using how bad the Nets were is shitty logic

Yet if "bynum was on the Nets he probably would look like a superstar"

That has to be the worst argument ever.

So is he supposed to be trash all of a sudden now that they have Joe Johnson?

Its not on the same level as cp3/Chandler but Bynum benefits from having Kobe because he isn't the main offensive player. So that leaves Bynum opportunities to score with little to no double teams.

Btw bosh>>Bynum

I can argue that it's harder to put up numbers as the man on a bad team when you don't have anyone else to take pressure off you, so scoring 18-20+ points per night is hard when youre facing double and triple teams. Bynum gets to roam around and pick his spots to score without having the pressure of being "the man"

So Lopez (the teams best player before d will got here) never got double and triple teamed? What's wrong with that statement?

they don't watch the games

Its clear they dont. They hear "Brook Lopez" an automatically think wack.

There's alot of blanket statements being made by Laker fans and others

Was just thinking about this the other day. the only thing that separates the two is rebounding which is a major flaw in Lopez game. Its pretty much a wash if you look at every other aspect of their games.

i actually always liked lopez..when he had devin harris he looked disinterested and was still putting up solid numbers..and when they got deron his whole demeanor changed for the better..the nets can actually compete with the team they have and make some noise

thats a pretty big "flaw"... you said rebounding like it wasn't one of the 3 most important things a big man HAS to do. It's not a knock on lopez saying that bynum's better than him, but I don't see how anyone could argue this...
