Um, Net fans?

Which is exactly why you dont know wtf you're talking about?

Since you basically admitted to not watching any Nets game, making your whole argument null, void and full of biased.

Bynum averages 26 minutes a game for his career and Lopez averages 35. You telling me in 9 minutes of play that Lopez can't grab one more rebound?? Brook Lopez was also 3 years older than Bynum was in his rookie year with college experience so those stats are skewed as fuck.

They're both the same age right now. Who is better? Brook Lopez doesn't do anything better than Bynum from a basketball standpoint other than having a little more range.

So we blaming Kris Humphries for Lopez averaging 6 rebounds per game in his last 82 game full season (2010-2011) when Humphries averaged 10.4 rebounds per game? But last year Pau Gasol also averaged 10.4 rebounds per game and Drew still managed to grab TWICE as many rebounds per game than Lopez in 8 less minutes. Not to mention Bynum shot 55% on 3 less shot attempts than Lopez as he was playing next to a guy with the most shot attempts in the league.

This is coming from someone who doesn't even care about stats. My eyes tell me that Bynum is far superior.

Lopez is good no doubt. He's a top 5 center but right now he's not better than Bynum and Bynum has a much higher ceiling. Be objective.

well damn.....you must be a Laker fan too...lmao!!

http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/sto...s-help-brooklyn-nets-land-dwight-howard-trade

"....Nonetheless, after a few days of silence, Brooklyn and Orlando began discussing possible trades again early Tuesday morning, sources said. The Nets proposed sending a package of Brook Lopez and Humphries, both through sign-and-trade deals, plus Brooks and three future first-round draft picks.

But Orlando does not want Humphries or Brooks, so the Nets began looking for a third team to pull in to help push the deal through. The Magic continue to speak with other teams, including the Lakers and Houston Rockets, about possible deals, but nothing has piqued their interest, sources say.

One league source familiar with the negotiations believes that Sunday's widespread speculation about an imminent deal with the Nets might have been strategically leaked to entice other potential trade partners to make their best offer to the Magic.

Orlando likes Lakers center Andrew Bynum, but one source said Bynum has refused to assure the Magic that he will re-sign with them beyond next season. Bynum can become a free agent in the summer of 2013, so trading for him without his long-term commitment would put Orlando in the same bind it finds itself in with Howard.

Orlando likes Lopez as a consolation prize to Bynum, and a package featuring the Brooklyn center and a slew of draft picks intrigues the Magic, according to sources."

thats interesting.....Lopez is better than Bynum...yet Orlando doesnt seem to have any interest in him(or any other team in the league for that matter)....is it b/c Bynum is the "bigger name"?....possibly but im sure Bynum's skills have a lot more to do with it than a name...and im not sayin Lopez isnt that closely behind him(ya'll act like there is actually 29 other legit centers out there to begin with) but he aint breathing down his neck...if he was more teams would be interested in obtaining his services...matter fact...Nets fans when is his contract up?

Your whole post makes no sense considering I already stated Bynum is a better Center than Lopez.

You're failing at trying to make a reasonable rebuttal.

dude i could care less...you caught the Brooks flab i'll give you(THANKS FOR READING) that but again no one outside of NJ/Brooklyn cares about Brook Lopez..no one really considers him to be better than Bynum and thats a fact...he's got a ways to go before he's "better" than Bynum

Lopez was not healthy in either the '11 or '12 seasons. So of course his rebounding numbers would be skewed. However when he was healthy he averaged 8 rebounds per game.

Let's see how well Lopez performs now that he is playing with quality players. Barring a trade to Orlando of course.

Homie watched prolly 4 Nets games in 4 years like the gives him enough to compare the two.

Wack team or not it doesn't change the fact you need an adequate sample size from both players.

Plus I'm not even a Nets fan, I'm a Knicks fan so there's no bias here either.

I'm just saying Lopez has two 8 rebound seasons and two seasons where he was hurt &/or sick that brought his numbers down yet still has the same career rebound numbers as Bynum. Orlando wants Bynum b/c yes he is better right now but Lopez isn't far off at all.

How you gonna say someone has "superstar potential" but someone who scores more efficiently than him but pulls down a few less rebounds isn't on his level.

Lopez played 5 games this season coming off the broken leg and dropped a 38 pt game & another 29 pt game on niggas. That boy is nice.

dude, This is the type of response I expect when one got nothing else to say.

You couldnt make an argument so you stuck with a generic response.

People know who Lopez is and, despite your claims, know he's a pretty a good center whether he's better or not than Bynum.

I'll be sure to DVR all Nets game this year though so i can really watch Lopez play and "have a solid opinion" on this very very important topic and come back to shut you down next year deal?

Apparently what's stopping DHoward from wearing purple & gold is that Bynum will not agree to sign an extension if traded to Orlando.......Magic & Lakers would be taking a huge risk by basically renting both centers for one season only.

lost in all this is the fact that brook lopez also has had only 1 "good" season

I don't know what planet you're on that 20.2 ppg & 6.0 rpg isn't considered a good season. B/c I know you're not talking about the 18.8 ppg & 8.6 rpg season.

im sorry... 5.9 rpg is not good for the "2nd best center in the league". at all.

that 18.8 and 8.6 >>>>> 20.2 and 5.9

if niggas can say kevin durant (who leads his team in rebounding as a SF with 8 per game) and amare stoudamire (7.8 per game) are not good rebounders...

yall gotta gtfo my face with 7'0 tall brook lopez 5.9 rpg

First of all .5.9, 6.0 no big difference. But it was 6.0 not 5.9 (ESPN says 5.9 - NBA says 6.0 - I'm going w/ NBA seeing that it's their league and all). Not to mention that that was only one season.

2nd of all who said he was a good rebounder? We're just saying he has the same career average as Bynum.

And that doesn't equal bad season when you're averaging 20.2 ppg. Nowitzski is 7'0'' averaging 7 & 6 rebounds the last 3 years but no one is gonna say those weren't great seasons.
