Lol at niggas underrating Brook Lopez. Idk if he's better than Bynum but Brook is a solid Center. I dont give a damn what anyone says. I watched this dude come up his rookie season and he's been hurt ever since. He needs to be 100% healthy. And LOL at using his 5 game season stats to discredit him. Only on the CS

but all this is the same reason the T/S is discrediting bynum... so what is yall really sayin?

This is why I said Idk if he's better than Bynum.

Both are injury prone and have facets of their games they need to improve on.

I'd take Bynum on my team, all I'm saying is... ppl undervalue Brook Lopez

injuries aside lopez will never be the shotblocker/rebounder/physical center bynum is. Yall really trynna say the nigga who said this>Bynum:

"Nets center Brook Lopez admitted he didn’t go after as many rebounds last season — partly because he “was being lazy” and also somewhat because Kris Humphries cleaned the glass so effectively Lopez said he would often “leak out” on shots by the opposing team to try to get a head start down to the offensive end."

Lol dog at least he was being "lazy" on defense to leak back on offense.

How you gonna use that against Brook when the list of times Big Baby Bynum quit on his team is endless.

sayin you're too lazy to get back on defense = quitting on your team. its the same "ehhh... fuck it." attitude

He said that, "he would just leak back onto offense since Humphries was so dominating on the boards." That doesn't equate to quitting on your team. A coach would tell you that it's not smart basketball, that it's lazy & that it's somewhat selfish. But it's definitely not "quitting."

Bynum on the other hand has been regularly quitting on his team since 05-06.

He wasn't saying "fuck it" though. He was getting back down on the offensive end, which payed off because he averaged 20.4 that year. That's not Andrew Bynum elbowing JJ Barea mid-air b/c he didn't feel like being out on the court w/ his team anymore b/c they were down in an elimination game. That's not Andrew Bynum jacking up an ill-advised three and then showing blatant disrespect for his coacch after the fact saying he doesn't care what coach says & that he'll shoot from where ever he wants to. That's not Bynum saying, "it doesn't really matter to me. I'll play anywhere."

All of the aforementioned are true examples of "fuck it."

That nigga is a poison that never gave any inclination that he was worth the trouble until this season.

Dog don't take Bynum's best season & use it as bible. B/c if I used Lopez's best season his stats would be 18.8 ppg & 8.6 rpg. Brook Lopez four years into his career averages 17.4 & 7.5 (and that's even with the 3.4 & 6 rpg years).

Over Bynum's 7 yr career he's averaged 11.7 ppg & 7.8 rpg.

4 years in--like Lopez--Bynum averaged (actually I won't even count his abysmal rookie season, I'll go years 2-5) 12.55 ppg & 8.1 rpg.

So yeah. He had a good year this year but stats don't lie. Kobe wanted him gone not too long ago for a reason.

Shit when you look at his stats this is actually his first season worthy of all the hype he's been getting the past couple years. Ppl been saying Bynum for Howard is the best possible trade for 2-3 years now but if you had the stats in front of you & said Bynum is >>> Lopez before this season you'd look silly as all hell.

Why is goin back to these niggas first and second seasons relevant in this conversation? Aren't we talking about who's the second best center RIGHT NOW? This ain't no damn lifetime acheivement debate n shit. This is about the eye test this season and at this point in they careers. They both been banged up so I think y'all should judge it by when you've seen both at their healthiest this season. It ain't like niggas is tryna get hurt on purpose n shit.

forgodsakes..... lopez is balling out on the nets shitty ass nets...

if bynum was on the nets he probably would look like a superstar

nets is shitty as fuck lets see lopez do that on a contender....

niggaz tend to forget bynum is balling out next to kobe and gasol

I rather Cousins over Bynum and Lopez. Bynum isn't a #1 option for a winning team. He is like Al Jefferson with more size and less range but a worse attitude. Lopez is a soft PF who plays center. Cousins is immature but he can be a #1 option for a winning in a couple years.

Bynum wouldn't be a superstar anywhere. He isn't that good.
