Are people in here trying to act like Trump is a better choice? Really? I might as well step out as I already voted and I didnt vote to be stopped and frisked nation wide, or for loose cannon Republican warmongering or economy collapsing. The markets are dropping at the hint of Trump climbing any amount in polls. Everyone knows it would be a disaster. Some people are self destructive or something. smh. But not all of us.

If you actually read the thread and comprehended what you read you would not even have typed that bullshit.

Didn't even read past the bold because you started off with bullshit

You right I aint read this whole thread. Like I said, I already voted to keep the one out who has the policies I stated so its immaterial to me. Obviously one of them is going to get into office. Do I want who by all metrics looks like the worse choice? Uh...let me think...uh...no. Wasnt that hard to figure. So I voted to keep that out. But like I said I already did my part. Never been a voter before but they simply went too far this time. Any way like I said I already voted so I can leave this thread alone and go about the rest of my day.

Wow. Just wow!!

-Accepted the Margaret Sanger award in 2009 (Who wanted to use black Pastor's to evangelize congregations about sterilizing black women, to achieve her overall goal of black extermination).

-Called black men "Super-predators" as a pretext to boost support for her Husbands 1994 crime bill. She said they needed to be "brought to heel.' She said it for political expediency. It led to mass incarceration of black males, which destroyed black families. The reverberations of that bill are still felt today.

-Set up a private server in her basement AS SOON AS SHE BECAME SECRETARY OF STATE. This was done to avoid transparency, and to conceal illegal pay-for-play, influence peddling with foreign governments. After being served with a subpoena for the emails, she paid a private I.T firm to use Bleach Bit, and acid-wash to wipe the server clean to avoid prosecution for destroying government property under a subpoena. 13 cellphones were destroyed, 3 laptops crushed with a hammer. In a deposition, she told FBI interviewers she could not recall 39 times.

-After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, President Obama commissioned Bill, and Hillary Clinton to spearhead the rebuilding/recovery. They used Haiti, through the Clinton Foundation as a money laundering scheme. Contractors looking to do work had to donate money to the foundation in order to be considered for work. The highest contributors were given "no-bid contracts." An estimated 12.3 billion dollars was donated to Haiti, less than 5% actually went to the people on the ground. The rest sits in offshore accounts of the Clinton's, while the people of Haiti still live in tents, dying from shit like Cholera.

-She got her Brother, Tony Rodham, a 26 year contract to control all the Gold mines in Haiti. It's been estimated that the value of the Gold mines is 20 billion dollars.

-She has lied repeatedly to the FBI, fucked over black people here and abroad, but apolitical nog-nigs like you stay niggin. Still licking the boots of your white savior when her ACTIONS show you how she really feels about you.

Smh.

Body bag

Yooooo niggas is really brainwashed

Everybody vote for who your gonna vote for. If you aint votin your irrelevant to the process. Your opinion means nothing your just a victim of what we choose. Nobody cares about your nothing opinion. Stop trying to get others to be nonfactors like you it doesnt work. Those that realize the purpose arent going to "unrealize" the purpose. Everybody isnt so stupid so give up the laughable attempts to influence votes for trump (haha) or trying to surpress votes for Hillary. Stop trying to influence the next persons politics people take that personally and seriously. None of your business. Not too many days left. We'll see what happens and thats that.

Incorrect and it really shows that you don't understand the political system. At all

The political system, just like the monetary system, is a FIDUCIARY SYSTEM

That means that it is FAITH BASED. It's only legitimate for as long as the masses BELIEVE THAT IT IS LEGITIMATE

Your dollar bills only have value because the person you're giving them to BELIEVES that they have value

People vote on a president because they BELIEVE that the president will have the best interest of the masses at heart when this has been shown to be untrue CONSISTENTLY since at least Civil War

When you abstain from voting for a president, you are making the statement that YOU DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE LEGITIMACY OF THIS SYSTEM.

Why do you think the government spends so much money promoting that you should vote?? They don't spend money advertising the policies OR HISTORICAL policies of either candidate. They just tell you to vote

When you CHOOSE not to vote YOU SHOW THAT YOU ARE ACTIVELY SEEKING AN ALTERNATIVE

It's really sad how true Malcolm X's words STILL are today. Hillary has done not a single thing to EARN your vote but you vote for her anyway.

Hillary has factually oppressed black people but you vote for her anyway

I ask again, what has hillary done for you to to be so blindly loyal to her??

Why do you consider facts "stupid"??

@scorpio4lfe

I'm voting for Jill Stein and it's not a protest vote. I actually share her beliefs. The idea of voting for something or someone you dont believe in b/c they aren't ass bad as the other person is asinine to me. You'll never get what you want if you keep settling for whats given.

Fuck Clinton and Trump. Chosing between them is like chosing between slicing your wrist or slicing your throat. One will kill you faster than the other but both will cause death. Fuck that shit I'm trying to live. The Green Party>>>>>>

what are the building blocks of Jill Steins platform
http://www.jill2016.com/plan

Power to the People Plan

“My Power to the People Plan creates deep system change, moving from the greed and exploitation of corporate capitalism to a human-centered economy that puts people, planet and peace over profit.

It offers direct answers to the economic, social, and ecological crises brought on by both corporate political parties. And it empowers the American people to fix our broken political system and make real the promise of democracy.

This plan will end unemployment and poverty; avert climate catastrophe; build a sustainable, just economy; and recognize the dignity and human rights of everyone in our society and our world. The power to create this new world is not in our hopes, it’s not in our dreams - it’s in our hands.”

signature_jill_8.png

Key points of the Power to the People Plan:

A Green New Deal:

Create millions of jobs by transitioning to 100% clean renewable energy by 2030, and investing in public transit, sustainable agriculture, and conservation.

Jobs as a Right:

Create living-wage jobs for every American who needs work, replacing unemployment offices with employment offices. Advance workers rights to form unions, achieve workplace democracy, and keep a fair share of the wealth they create.

End Poverty:

Guarantee economic human rights, including access to food, water, housing, and utilities, with effective anti-poverty programs to ensure every American a life of dignity.

Health Care as a Right:

Establish an improved “Medicare For All” single-payer public health insurance program to provide everyone with quality health care, at huge savings.

Education as a Right:

Abolish student debt to free a generation of Americans from debt servitude. Guarantee tuition-free, world-class public education from pre-school through university. End high stakes testing and public school privatization.

A Just Economy:

Set a $15/hour federal minimum wage. Break up “too-big-to-fail” banks and democratize the Federal Reserve. Reject gentrification as a model of economic development. Support development of worker and community cooperatives and small businesses. Make Wall Street, big corporations, and the rich pay their fair share of taxes. Create democratically run public banks and utilities. Replace corporate trade agreements with fair trade agreements.

Protect Mother Earth:

Lead on a global treaty to halt climate change. End destructive energy extraction: fracking, tar sands, offshore drilling, oil trains, mountaintop removal, and uranium mines. Protect our public lands, water supplies, biological diversity, parks, and pollinators. Label GMOs, and put a moratorium on GMOs and pesticides until they are proven safe. Protect the rights of future generations.

Racial Justice Now:

End police brutality and mass incarceration. Create a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to understand and eliminate the legacy of slavery that lives on as pervasive racism in the economy, education, housing and health. Ensure that communities control their police rather than police controlling our communities, by establishing police review boards and full time investigators to look in to all cases of death in police custody. Demilitarize the police.

Freedom and Equality:

Expand women’s rights, protect LGBTQIA+ people from discrimination, defend indigenous rights and lands, and create a welcoming path to citizenship for immigrants. Protect the free Internet, legalize marijuana/hemp, and treat substance abuse as a public health problem, not a criminal problem.

Justice for All:

Restore our Constitutional rights, terminate unconstitutional surveillance and unwarranted spying, end persecution of government and media whistleblowers, close Guantanamo, abolish secret kill lists, and repeal indefinite detention without charge or trial.

Peace and Human Rights:

Establish a foreign policy based on diplomacy, international law, and human rights. End the wars and drone attacks, cut military spending by at least 50% and close the 700+ foreign military bases that are turning our republic into a bankrupt empire. Stop U.S. support and arms sales to human rights abusers, and lead on global nuclear disarmament.

Empower the People:

Abolish corporate personhood. Protect voters’ rights by establishing a constitutional right to vote. Enact electoral reforms that break the big money stranglehold and create truly representative democracy: public campaign financing, ranked-choice voting, proportional representation, and open debates.

I guess people feel strongly on both sides.

Can't convince them to vote and nothing I heard convinced me not to vote so fuck it.

Side notes tho -

- Some of y'all non-voting MFs low-key sound like y'all closet Trump supporters.

- You playin' yourself if you think whoever is elected can't make it worse for Black people.

Sounds hopeful.

this election has officially turned me green. obama and the dems and their overt and intentional neglect of issues that are important to me have pushed me out of the party. police brutality = beer summit. caving on the public option = double digit increase in obamacare premiums. corporate funded campaigns = tpp. i've ridden this donkey as far as it will go. it's time to trade that jackass in for something more reliable.

voting FOR jill stein>>>>>>>voting AGAINST donald trump

Once again, what does Hillary's political history have to do with Trump?

How can things get worse for black people besides bringing back chattel slavery?

Why do y'all speak in such vague generalities when we're posting hard facts?

Where did I mention anything about Hillary's political history and Trump ?

And when was there ever a situation anywhere where shit couldn't get worse ? Only a naive person thinks like that.

As far as examples, they're in the thread. Like I said, I'm good on tryin' to convince people.

This entire thread is full of different posters posting facts about the corruption of the clintons. Instead of addressing what is posted, you and other posters keep saying "you guys must like trump" which is a complete strawman and irrelevant to the historical facts being posted about hilllary.

You guys are literally the only people consistently bringing trump up in this thread, the title has nothing to do with trump

@italicized: I'm just asking you to back up/support a statement you made. No one in this thread has had a valid response to the question "how can things get worse for black people" that I've read. If so please point out the post and I'll respond to it

But if you're calling me naive then I'm gonna have to ask you to support your statement with evidence

Your issue is you think we're playing by your trivial restrictions, where we have to vote for either Trump or Hilary. For whatever reason you're ignoring the context.

A lot of us are saying we will never vote for Hilary due to the Clinton's track record of targeting and destroying the black community across the world. That's it.

Then most of us look at the other candidates and see that they're no good either, so we come to the conclusion that we will sit this one out and 'protest' the presidential election, because the candidates are shit. That way on the next election, all parties will see and understand that if you want the black vote, you have to make it worth our effort. We're done being the 'liberal', white man's lapdog. In the meantime, we'll work on creating our own power structures.

Just be real with yourself, you're simply okay with following white people's lead. It's okay, maybe you'll eventually see what's really going on, or maybe you'll be a pawn in their little game forever.

This is bigger than the title of President.

The president can inspire, rejuvenate and empower the ppl.

And the ppl that Trump is empowering is white supremacist.

Actually in that scenario the party that wins (since one of them will win) will realize they don't need to give a shit about black voters and likely spend 4-8 years continuing to not give a shit about black voters.
