What I don't get is that it seems atheists hate Jesus and God. How can you hate something that you don't believe in?
I want to understand how you can't believe in something greater than yourself. I believe that comes from mans selfishness and not wanting to believe that there is something over us. the way our bodies work, the stars, animals, plants you mean to tell me someone didn't put it there? I don't bash anyones beliefs I just want to understand the thought process that goes into why you think the way you do. I also don't believe forcing beliefs on anyone all you can do is lay it out there and if they don't take it at least you tried. That's where a lot of people get messed up at trying to force someone to believe.

Because we don't hate them precisely for that reason...at least I don't, a lot of the just directly hate the religion itself, because they feel it oppresses human development.

I don't think I'm great, or special or anything like that, as far as the universe is concerned, an ant and I have the same value. The universe is a vast place, so yes, I think it's possible for life to eventually occur on it's own. Don't really have a reason to believe some otherworldly being created us. I believe it's a possibility we were created, but I don't think it's an omnipotent being that did it.
