Not the jury's fault. They absolutely made the right decision based on what was presented to them. I can guarantee you that all 12 believe she did it...but they're not instructed to vote based on what they believe.

I wonder how they feel right now....do they honestly feel that "justice" was done?

A series of questions are asked in the beginning of jury selection...a few jurors were asked to be removed by the prosecution, but they remained. So, in a sense, yes, a test is given at the start, but only to see where that person stands in relation to justice, and what is perceived as adequate punishment.
