Is she getting away with murder? Was she murder? No one can say with certainty that she was murdered, they can't say for certain how she died so there is no way that you can really say that the little girl was murdered and that's the problem that the prosecution had.

The investigators and the prosecution did not do their job and I will point a few fingers at the media. This became such a big story, this became such a public event that there was lots of pressure to accuse someone of this crime and have them pay for it. Everyone wants justice for Caylee however the ball was dropped at the beginning, not with the verdict.

The problem with this narrow view of the case, is that it was Casey Anthony who was directly responsible for us not finding evidence. That's obstruction of justice. If you're going to find her guilty of lying you have to define what she lied about. You can't just vote "guilty of lying" and then say "but I don't know what happened to the baby." If you don't know what happened, then how can she be guilty of lying??? Because she switched stories *light bulb* I wonder why.....And I quote....

Caylee drowned in a pool at the grandparents' home, the Defense attorney said later.

Casey Anthony's brother made advances toward her and was given a paternity test to see if he was Caylee's father. (According to Defense)

The 'secrets' regarding Caylee's father eventually led to the cover-up of Caylee's drowning. (According to Defense)

After swimming with Caylee on Father's Day, June 15, 2008, Cindy Anthony forgot to pull up a ladder that prevented the toddler from climbing into the pool on her own. Defense Attorney Baez suggested that Caylee slipped into the pool the next day when no one was looking. (According to Defense)

there are 2 views to this case that I'm talking about. 1 is as a legal representative in the case and the 2nd is as an observer. We are all observers, therefore we cannot simply go "oh well there was no evidence so....."

If you're an observer you have to demand factual evidence from the prosecution. But at the same time, you can't just read the verdict and say "see the prosecution had nothing." That's crazy to me.
