last of a dying breed trash now? .....he never dropped an album that got straight shitted on by a lot of people. I cant think of anyone else w/ that kind of run and that accolade

id say hes underrated because he has arguably the best catalog in hip hop history

The thread premise is what rappers are people are afraid to say are overrated . You can say any one is overrated without any basis in fact. If somebody is overrated/underrated is all based on perception .

The War Report is better than any UGK album. A lot better.

Aside from KRIT and a few other southern emcees, I can't think of any rappers UGK influenced, especially outside the South.

And he ain't the worst, Lil B, OJ Da Juiceman, Max B, Future, and a bunch of other rappers is worse than NORE.

People are bold enough to express themselves freely in the internet without having to worry about reprecussion. In internet it is safe to say "Tupac is overrated", but in the real world people will despise you, will not take your opinion serious and if you continue to persist on stating your opinion about Pac, you will have to run because sensitive niggas might gang up on you.

Tupac will always be the most overrated rapper in the history of Hip-Hop. He was never honor as the best rapper of all time while he was alive. I remember 90s niggas didn't bump his first album as much as they bump All Eyez on Me, Makaveli and Me Against the World. He get shot and end up dead;suddenly, he is the best and the most impactful rapper of all-time and his record sales went through the roof. Tupac is a glorified Thug Lord to many of his delusional worshippers. The same people that cited stupid statements like "If Tupac was alive he will check these fake niggas".

"If Pac was alive, none of these rappers will sell records."

@Jamaica, you are crazy to think Eminem hasn't made an impactful record in his career. You can't deny how Marshall had ruffled many feathers and draw many controversies while garnering multi-platinum numbers of Marshall Mathers album. The album maybe drew a negative impact but it showcased Eminem's lyrical dexterity and song-writing ability. Em was the most scrutinized rapper at the time. He had everybody talking about his funny-sarcastic-misoygnist songs.
