Jay Z has showed the least growth lyrics/subject wise outta all the succesful platinum selling rappers. Though this isn't an unpopular opinion really.

he started off miles ahead of everybody

He just DRug King Pin Rap his whole career though hasn't showed growth content wise.

He gave niggas that and they wasn't satisfied
