Some indie artists do put out music videos better than there mainstream counterparts. Here are some of my favs

U can be independent and still have dope visuals. For example, Shana Diggs from Chicago is indie and she has some pretty decent videos.

Currensy is an indie rapper who shoots low budget videos. If u ask me, as good as his music is, those vids he comes out with accentuate (if that makes sense) his music and make it all the more better. There have been some songs of his I didnt really fuck with or pay attention to until after I seen the video, and I'm not that big on videos.

Its not the budget its the talent.
