In the nfl randall cunningham, randy moss, barry sanders, mike vick, deoin sanders,bo jackson are/were considered athletes they were the exceptions to the usual

In the nba Everybody is considered an athlete

Dwight Howard,Shaq,Kg,Dominique,Mike,Penny,Iverson,Kobe,D rose,elgin baylor,Dr J,Shawn Kemp,Hakeem,David robinson,Zeke,etc,etc

The list goes on for generations

Larry Bird is a better athlete than steve largent or Dwight clark ever were

Its laughable this is even a debate

You're reachin hard on this post. You ignored so many NFL players it's insane.

You just try to discredit whatever an NFL player does as not athletic (lyin ur ass of) to support ur point. Lynch's run wasn't athletic...just bad tackling. Turner's not athletic, just a fat boy with speed. Get outta here with this stuff

You're missing the point

Shooting a 20 foot fadeaway over a 6'6 defender is harder than "timing your speed blah, blah, blah"

Who cares if kobe can do it in his sleep? It's still harder than running a wr route

Have u ever hooped? you prolly suck at basketball

I CAN Go in the nfl and do what desean jackson does

RIGHT NOW

I CANNOT go in the nba and shoot fadeways like kobe or split double teams like D rose and dunk over a 6'11 center

What the fuck????

What???????

MLB, because usually they're the multi sport athletes. They choose to play baseball because they pay the most and less physically taxing on the body.

Between the 2 leagues, different athletic traits are desired.

NBA - Height, speed, jumping ability, endurance, hand/eye coordination, and vision are desired traits

NFL - Different positions require different athletic traits. QB - Vision, RB - Speed, Strength, Agility, WR - Speed, Agility, Hand/Eye, Linemen - Girth, Strength, Balance.

Notices that everyone agrees that MLB has the worst athletes...

this... except NBA is more quickness vs speed... no way you can settle this since everyone will interpret "athletic" differently!

What's more athletic, eye/hand coordination or quickness? Speed or strength?

I dont post at all, I rather lurk. But I had to come out and say that Bilifier is acting like a crack head with his arguments. He is choosing to ignore facts, while he spits out random shit that proves nothing, and only makes him look even more stupid. You could do what dJackson does?HA. You guys should left it alone after that comment. True mac, and the dude with the bucs helmets is clowin u bums. Although i do agree with him in the eagles thread were he said the lions will beast. That is all.

Football easily. Y'all confusing skill and finesse with pure athleticism. Only thing the NBA has over the NFL is vertical leaps and that's about it.

I agree with that .. shit i seen an offensive lineman run down a DB.. i forgot who they were but it was back in the day.. Cowboys game vs the saints.. nigga tracked homie down

Nigga, that's what you call determination....lol

But I'd say football, just because you have to use so many different skills and techniques at a high level and many at the same time. And in addition to that, football is a very high contact sport that is played in a variety of elements that you have to adjust to. With basketball, you have to use skills and all of that, but it's not high contact like football. You have to have endurance more than anything else.....they're both very physically demanding sports, though....And I can tell some of y'all haven't played sports lol

Most college WR's don't come anywhere near the NFL draft. That's only for the best. I think you are confusing the best for all. If I said most QB's aren't athletic and you showed me Vick and Newton, I would say they aren't most QB's. Reading comp nigga, reading comp.

i gotta go with nba, i think. the fast dudes in the nba still gotta dribble a ball and be fast. pretty sure they could pick it up and run with that shit too if they had too. Not sure about big men though.

Look at it this way. Bron is talked about in the NBA like he's a freak of nature that's never been seen before. If he was in the NFL that wouldn't be goin on. Also, when they talk about how athletic he is they often refer to what he could be doin in football to emphasize their point. "Guy's the size of a linebacker" type comments. Know who else are the size of linebackers? Linebackers.

Seriously though Soccer no bull.

He ignored that. Said they run for 48 minutes so they're more athletic than any other sport. Soccer runs for 45 mins at a time (twice), no break and he ignored it

dont count out boxing either... i know its just fighting but Mayweather really shows u its more than that... the conditioning part is no joke... at least in NBA and NFL u get breaks., subbed in and out... in Boxing u get 1 minute breaks every 3 minutes .. 3 minutes of moving, throwing punches, taking punches, dodging and all that... not saying IT IS.. but im surprised no one said boxing
