lol @ the feels from those Raider fans on Twitter.

Nikkas act like we're about to give him Nnamdi/Eagles money. lol. FOH.

Nigga bout to get Vance Walker with a new contract money. lol

I know @allday would like to hear this, but I think Douglas will definitely get the competition in camp that we were hoping he gets.

He's in the "in crowd" on the squad because he seems to be cool with all the stars and vets, but I really feel like Matty doesn't have any bias for or against him.

Here's his competition in the slot... (in order of biggest threat to HD's job to smallest threat)

Darius Johnson

Rashad Evans

Lamar Jackson

There are a couple other UDFA's we signed and that we have on the roster (like Tim Toone, etc.) and I left out Davis because he's primarily a backup wideout, but those are the three threats as it stands right now.

I think only one will make the final roster, but all might have a decent shot at stealing some PT from HD at some point in the season.

This will be one of the things to watch for in garbage time of the upcoming preseason games.

To be the best you sometimes have to beat the best, and last season one of the reasons the Falcons were one of the best teams in the NFL is because they frequently faced Pro Bowl quarterbacks, and won.

Last season, the Falcons faced 11 such QBs, including two games each against NFC South rivals Drew Brees and Cam Newton. They were 11-2 against the Pro Bowl quarterbacks and were just one of only two teams to face that many quarterbacks with Pro Bowl honors. The Saints were the other and against that competition they were 5-8.

...And most of them had their worst games of the season against us.

Just realized we play a game this year in Canada. Toronto, December 1st against the Bills. lol.

I would be mad as fuck if I was a Bills fan and the NFL got my squad playing a home game in another country.

There's still some concern regarding a few positions on the squad.

#1 RT - We're banking our season on a 2nd year LT who was injured his rookie year and didnt see much playing time to be a RT.

#2 DT - unless Seymour is signed the lack of push in the pocket will still be absent. Babs cant do it by himself.

#3 OLB - Nicholas is just a backup imo. Hopefully one of these rookies show him up in training camp and or motivates him to improve. An improvement at DT can help the MLB out a lot. So its not as big of an issue for me because I seen a lot of improvement in Dent as the season progressed.

#4 DE - Osi is the only proven pass rusher on the team. Hopefully that changes this season but as of now it is what it is.

#5 C - Konz has to work on his technique. He stands upright without gaining any leverage underneath the defenders. Hopefully Pat Hill has him ready.

Cosign all of that. Fortunately, every team in the league has at least 3 or 4 holes or question marks thanks to the cap and parity.

I do like the fact that our Offensive line will be the biggest that it's been since the Dan Reeves era.

That's one of the reasons we had so many issues with run blocking and short yardage.

And Nolan is creative so we might be able to manufacture a pass rush without a dominant pass rusher.

We NEED another DT tho.

The only one of those I'm really worried about is the DT.

TD wouldn't have cut Clabo unless Holmes showed that he was ready to take that spot. I think Nolan is gonna blitz a lot more than he did last year now that he has guys that can cover in the secondary.

It's a reason Dunta was moved to safety without even going through a practice

Snelling is still under-used, imo.

If you wanna know what type of damage Steven Jackson can do in this offense, just go back and watch the few touches Snellz got last year and imagine a stronger, faster version.

#scurry

Nah, we need Snells. Our running game would've been even uglier last year without him.

Only one that ran with some pop and power @ the line of scrimmage last year when we needed it.

I ain't saying he's not useful I'm saying they still not gonna use him

A Snelling game is like this

Block

Block

Block

Block

Special Teams

Pity carry

Sit the fuck down

If we get up by 14+ Kutty might throw him a shovel pass in the red zone

Aight, I'm tired of seeing Decoud's goofy ass all over the TV.

We got at least 10 players on this squad that deserve more shine than him. I know he's goofy and well spoken an' shit, but he's startin' to be on some Richard Sherman shit, and like Sherman, I'ma need him to have more than one good year before he's all over my fuckin' TV.

That is all.
