Aight, I'm tired of seeing Decoud's goofy ass all over the TV.

We got at least 10 players on this squad that deserve more shine than him. I know he's goofy and well spoken an' shit, but he's startin' to be on some Richard Sherman shit, and like Sherman, I'ma need him to have more than one good year before he's all over my fuckin' TV.

That is all.

I mean most media wants the most personable player they can get

- Matt Ryan has that weird white boy swag (word to those dumbass Comcast commercials they keep showing)

- Spoon one of them ADD niggas that bounces around for no reason

- Julio says about 6 words every 3 months

- You know Roddy probably gonna say some shit they gotta apologize for later

That's why most national media interviews go to Tony G or Decoud cause that weird ass nigga is entertaining to people

I think Spoon would be a great TV personality. And despite the pro-bowl snubs, he's a much better player.

He's actually well spoken too, and he has that "natural" charisma, not that "Carrot-Top trapped in a nikka's body" charisma like Decoud...

And Roddy is the only player that gets more pub lately than Decoud, but Roddy is a top player at his position and the media likes the fact that he might say something slick.

They like Decoud because he's a cartoon with a Falcons uniform on.

He ain't a team captian, he ain't a perennial pro-bowler yet, and he ain't even our best Safety. And probably our 3rd or fourth best DB, so I feel some kinda way about ESPN and NFL Network constantly showcasing him to speak on our behalf.

Kinda like how CNN always puttin' a mic in Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson's face to get the "black perspective". Them niggas don't speak for me. lol

All I want from Jax is 4+ yards per carry, and to be a consistent receiving threat (about 500+ yards for the season.)

We don't need a dominant run game, but we just might have one.

And with our O-line being less experienced, I need all 4 of our backs to be ready to pick up blitzes and help block.

An explosive pass game gets points.

A strong (or at least respectable) ground game gets wins.

I think a couple close games in each half of the season don't hurt. Makes us battle tested at least.

Matty had to do his thing 'cause we couldn't run out the clock on the ground.

But Jax said it best long before we signed him...

Falcons signed FB Patrick DiMarco.

DiMarco, 24, was recently cut by the Chiefs. He started four games for Kansas City last season, but projects as a special teams player in Atlanta. He'll compete for a roster spot.

Deon Goggins was cut to make room.

Good, I like Ewing but cant have that guy too comfortable out here. Everybody needs some type of competition in camp.

NOOOO! They cut my nigga Goggins???!

Nah, I'm bullshittin, I don't even know who that is.

What yall know about this 6'8 335 pound OT/OG we just signed from Alabama state?

Lol, TD is really working on getting some big boys on this Oline.

Normally, that's a sign that we're going to run more.

I did feel like our interior line was a bit smallish.

Undersized or "pass blocking" interior linemen + LHD-infested starting RB + No decent FB's = No short yardage success.

Looks like we fixed all three of those issues this offseason

Just dawned on me that Corey Peters, Babz, AND Peria Jerry are all in the last year of their contracts.

And we all know how players play in their contract years.

All three have alot of money to lose if they play shitty. I think we'll see Jerry's best year and Peters will be back to his 2011 form.

I've been pleased with Babs overall.

Add Seymour to the mix and it might be a problem... a good problem.

Jax article from Yasinkas ESPN.COM...

Prior to the arrival of offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter last year, we used to spend a lot of time busting on the Atlanta Falcons for almost never using screen passes.

There might have been a reason why predecessor Mike Mularkey was so hesitant to throw to his running backs. Michael Turner simply wasn’t a receiving threat. In five seasons with the Falcons, Turner caught 59 passes.

Jackson

Koetter got the running backs more involved in the passing game last season, mainly by throwing to Jacquizz Rodgers a fair amount. But I suspect we could see that trend escalate tremendously in 2013.

A lot of people are viewing the arrival of Steven Jackson as Turner’s replacement as evidence that Atlanta’s running game will improve. I have no doubt that will happen.

But I think a lot of people are only looking at half of what Jackson brings to the table. Jackson is one of the best pass-catching running backs in recent history.

In fact, I just dialed up the database at ESPN Stats & Information and came up with something interesting. Since his arrival in the league in 2004, Jackson’s 407 receptions are the most by any running back in that period.

For the sake of comparison, the only other running backs with more than 300 catches during that same span are Brian Westbrook (396), LaDainian Tomlinson (386), Reggie Bush (372), Frank Gore (315), Ray Rice (311) and Darren Sproles (307).

I’m pretty sure we can expect to see some new wrinkles from Koetter because Jackson can do more than catch screen passes. He can run a lot of different routes. Rodgers can do the same.

That’s going to create all sorts of headaches for defenses that already have their hands full with Roddy White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez.

Even coach Mike Smith, who usually goes out of his way to not give away anything close to strategy is raving about Jackson's ability as a receiver.

“He’s a big strong running back that catches the ball extremely well,'' Smith told the media Wednesday. "He creates issues for defenses. He’s just another weapon that we have in our offensive arsenal. He’s a guy who had close to 100 catches in a season, so he’s a guy that we can use in the passing game. He’s not just a running back, he’s a receiving back as well.”

As for the first bold paragraph --- shouts out to the casual-fan, dumb ass nikkas that used to call Matty "cap'n check down." If they actually watched him and watched our offense -- we never threw to our check downs.

Unless you think anything less than a 30-yard bomb is a touchdown. And in that case - you just don't know shit about football.

Keep in mind, dude has been 4+ yard per carry guy his whole career and even in the last few years...

...With Amedola as the offenses only other option. #lol

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – Kroy Biermann has shown in his five seasons with the Atlanta Falcons that he is one of the most versatile players on the roster. Last year, he played everything from special teams to left defensive end to a type of rover in defensive coordinator Mike Nolan’s scheme that had him covering the deep pass down the middle of the field. (This is not to mention his off-the-field versatility in which he appears on a reality television show with his wife, Kim Zolciak.)

As the Falcons continue to become more varied in Nolan’s second season from a 4-3 base defense that includes even more 3-4 looks, it’s possible that Biermann could continue to morph into a linebacker.

I think that's a good situational look for Beer-Man, but not full time.

Dude has a good motor with his pass-rush, he just doesn't have all the tools and the athleticism that a elite pass rusher like Abe or Osi has.

Every snap I see him bull-rushing the OT into the backfield, but he's always a step too slow to getting to the QB. (but he was fast enough to chase down Vick a couple times.)

I'm starting to really fuck wit Matty's throwing motion. Shit is like Ken Griffey Jr's swing.

Especially when he "kicks" out his left/lead foot before he plants -- When I see that, I know it's a big play coming.

He squats low in his drop back, shoulders squared, and then lifts, kicks, plants, fires.

Shit is textbook.

When he gets time to follow-thru with that motion, it's a wrap err-time.

Props to Coach Biskie. Dude's resume is crazy. He would already had at least one Head Coaching gig by now if he was white.

Julio and Roddy worship his every word.
