No, I haven't been confident in any of Matt's backup quarterbacks the entire 5 years he's been here though. I think Dominique has the most talent and potential out of any of them but his lack of experience concerns me.

Yeah I agree. It seems right now he's solidified the number 2 spot with his competition being two rookies. I will say he showed promise in last year's preseason games, but I aint hoping for him to see any action in a regular season game anytime soon.

With Jax, Quizz, and Snellz that helps if Ryan goes down. We'll throw half as many passes and run twice as much (at least the first few games.)

And Davis can get away with catching defenses off guard with his scrambling and strong arm. Our defense would have to step up too.

The fact that every team will prepare for a "pocket" quarterback and then have to face Davis will be an advantage. (i.e. seattle and San fran last year) at least temporarily.

What I was afraid of with Redman is that he's a bootleg Matt Ryan, so he would've been shitty.

We'd still be 8-8 or 9-7 but Matt has been the difference between winning and losing in about 3 to 4 games every year

We'll see a lot of Davis this year during the preseason, which will also be a good test of how good he is compared to last year, since he will be playing in the game a lot earlier when the first string defense is still on the field.
