Still don't give a fuck. You know, that representing203 cat is a packers fan I think, and it's a couple other bandwagon nikkas that jumped on around 2010 --

Make the thread. They will come. I promise.

Just giving advice. Dude seems lonely.

Not sure what his obsession with the Falcons is. He don't post in other team threads...

...or maybe he does. Iono... I don't fuck with other team's threads - especially non-divisional opponents.

When I first came on here, there were a few falcon fans, but they didn't congregate... So me and Numbaz built a church.

*shrug*

That shit was GOAT, because at the time my old roommate was poppin shit at that EXACT moment about Vick and how wouldn't ever make the playoffs with him, etc, etc,.

That's probably the play that made the A fall in love with Vick. That and the Lambeau incident.

I still feel some kinda way about Reeves gettin' fired.

Firing Reeves, hiring Quittrino, and paying Peerless Price are the only moves Blank fucked up big time on.

I think he learned from all of them tho.

Im done with AF.com

Its too much bitching and complaining on there for me.

Werd, then you got the trolls from other teams that post more in there than they do their own message boards.

Then you got the rednecks (80% of whom are racist, and unless a player is scoring touchdowns or balling out for the falcons or their favorite SEC team -- he's a nigger.)

Then it's the silly ass dudes who wanna draft anybody from the SEC.

Last season I thought about posting on there again, but lo and behold, the top thread on there had this dude saying he would swap our whole offensive line for Alabama's line.

That killed that.

Besides, it's always more fun repping your team on neutral sites, win or lose. 'Cause niggas that don't know how to rep or are just bandwagonistas are appalled when a nikka reps to the fullest.

I don't too much care for the Falcons' message board myself either, but I have found it to be a great source for Falcon related news.

That's the only reason I even go to a team site/message board.

Like I peeked in that bish earlier today at work and some muhfugga had a thread that suggested players and QBs with "simple" names are more likely to succeed.

I swear it's like holding my breath underwater when I go to that bitch. Only so long I can take it.

The Falcons prefer to keep CB Robert McClain on the inside as their nickel corner.

McClain, claimed off waivers from the Jaguars at the end of the 2011 season, blossomed into an outstanding slot corner for the Falcons last season. He appeared in 17 games, including the playoffs, and registered one interception and ten pass breakups, while grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 12 corner. Atlanta would prefer one of first-round CB Desmond Trufant or second-rounder Robert Alford to claim the starting job opposite Asante Samuel.

Related: Desmond Trufant, Robert Alford

Source: National Football Post Jun 30 - 9:49 AM

I think TD should give McClain a 3 year contract around week 8 if he continues to play at the level he did last season. That way we could prevent the possibility of him asking for too much money when the season is over. He's only getting $550k this season. 3 year, 9 million dollars would be a steal imo. If Trufant and Alford show any type of potential this season, Asante is gone. We need to lock up McClain for the long term ASAP.

True.

I like keeping McLain at the slot corner spot.

Slot corners are more valuable than ever, and it's basically a starting position in today's pass-happy league.

On another note, I watched a couple games yesterday and realized that Asante Samuels dropped 4 go-ahead interceptions last season.

Dropped one against the Aint's, 2 against the Bucs and one against the Chiefs. Could have had 9 INT's last year.

Dude is still an elite ball-hawk.

Looks like our secondary will remain the strength of our defense.
