Nash was always an average point guard until he was introduced to D'Antoni's uptempo system. I'm not discrediting what Nash has done for the Suns because I consider him one of the best point guards in the game today, but Jason Kidd and what he did for the Nets is a lot more impressive.

How u got nash over kidd when kidd went to the finals twice

kidd went to the finals twice in a TERRIBLE eastern conference and got swept twice......Nash aint get to the finals at all but has been to the western conference semis 3times i think (smfh)....and hes got 2 MVPs
and Nash has continued to get better while Kidd has been trash for a good 3years now....

Nash was on the bench for his first 2years in the league in Phoenix under Kevin Johnson and Jason Kidd
then went to dallas where he was a backup for 2seasons (and all of that was before this decade we talkin about....after that he didnt average any worse than 16/7, and averaged a double-double just about 6years in a row this decade while leadin the leagues highest scorin offense.....so idk how much more impressed u could be with that

and are u really puttin Sam Cassel and Chris paul for the decade??....Sam Cassell prolly had 3good seasons in the 2000's, and what the hell has Cp3 accomplished??

WOW Spoken like a true stan.Doggie the nets won 26 games the year before J kidd got there and won 52 the next year and went to the finals.They got swept by the lakers becuase of Shaq killin again.They went in 2003 and lost to the spurs in 6 games.The nets had bum ass niggas come on man.Nash went to the west finals in 05 and lost in 5 games thats the farthest he ever went.He had Amare,Joe johnson,Q rich.Kidd done dropped more triple doubles this decade than nash ever dropped.Kidd fell of the last 3 years but he pushin 40 now what u expect.Nash helped the suns but he had legit talent kidd had bums.

lol @ stan...the Suns were 29-53 the year before nash came back, 62-20 his 1st year back (and an MVP)....he been to the western conference finals 3times in a tough west, while Kidd went to the finals twice when the East was at its weakest points (you cant argue with that)....and when Nash went to the west finals in 05, Joe Johnson was injured, Qrich shot like 20% from 3, and Marion was horrible (watch the games and check the stats for the proof), then in 06 when Nash went back to the west finals, he did it without Amare on the roster...Boris Diaw was the starting center for that team and Nash led em to the west finals.....cmon son

and fuck that age shit, Steve Nash is 36 so hes pushin 40 also and hes averagin 18/11 rite now to Kidd's 9/9

You made good points but I forgot they had shawn marion to.So nash had way better talent than kidd.Kenyon martin is garbage he never looked the same since he left jersey(because he left kidd).The east was weaker but it still ain't no cakewalk gettin to the finals back to back.They both good Pg's but kidd still gets the edge to me cuz he always played defense.He stuck kobe in 02 finals and was shuttin him down before he started hogging to pad his stats.Nash don't play D ever.Kidd stuck pierce in the 02 playoffs to

the same can be said for the role players that Nash made better while they played in phoenix, look at Q-rich now and Shawn marion.....and yea i cant ever argue Nash plays defense, the 1 thing i can say is he takes charges...charges = turnovers fuck it lol

If we are choosing between Nash and Kidd I have to pick Kidd, he is a better PG in my opinion, he is a good defender and his shooting has improved A LOT, and he is always making others around him better.
