i aint got time to feed into that bullshit. can anybody stanning that shit explain EXACTLY why its so raw in an intelligent manner. i pointed out some specific things. since acknowledging they exist threatens your sense of existence, then point out what i missed out of all that...

Bruh, time for you to fall back a lil bit. Every time I log on to the IC since last night, I see a new post from you complaining about Kendrick. That's obsessive, that's emotional and BOTH are female traits. Check yaself sun!

I don't know if niggas is caping for the favorite rapper because they feel threatened by Kendrick or if yall just have bad taste. that cypher was great.

or it could be those south country bumpkins that just want to have a good dance tune or imagine themselves in "the trap"

"what he say bruh? i couldn't understand it bruh. I think he dissin ross. fuck that nigga bruh."

most of the ppl that hate kendrick. i dont mean DISLIKE, i mean the ppl that can't go five minutes without saying how much he is "trash" or "piece of shit" etc

those ppl they dont even hate kendrick, per se, they just hate the fact that ppl like him so much. the mere fact some people out there saying he is great, they have to go way to the other extreme.

what i don't understand is why they can't just let it be.

in this day in age, anyone that obtains success as fast as he did gets hate 3x faster....if GKMC went gold or worse and he was still doin what he does niggas wouldn't even give him the time of day to "hate"

thats the fallacy. thats what fucks up rap. periphery shit. maybe niggas just dont like his MUSIC or notice a difference once his success was GIVEN by getting in where he fit with the folks that make and break artists in the industry.

that "hate" word is some hdeous shit in modern context. any mufucka analyzing and using critical thought past and often at odds with popular hive mind thought is "hating". FOH.

you know how can tell the verse was wack and the niggas overrated?

fanboys preaching about periphery shit.

but none of u even acknowledging the wack sauce written out in the o/p. hypocrite ass niggas. i remember yall was on here dogging rick ross for repeating himself in bars.

just the fact the game is at the point where a bet awards show gets this "unofficial official" hip hop seal of approval is macabre

hating.. LMBAO

nigga the people paying these niggas hated us from the jump. only thru THEM do most in the mainstream "obtain success". thats a fucking fact! THAT MEANS the boundaries of their content is determined by people who hate their core audience. FACT

all that aside.

THAT VERSE WAS ASS

calm down homie....wasnt talkin about you and your opinion but dont act like niggas dont hate on Kendrick for anything other than he's got succesful quicker than expected....he's not wack lyrically and makes good music IN MY OPINION....you are right the word hate gets thrown out there for any dislike of an artist and there are people out there who form valid opinions of not liking dude but there are also others who just flat out dont like the kid which = hate for me but again i dont see him getting any of this hate or flack for anything he does if he didn't do so well his first time out

Maybe not a savior but the kid is hands down the King of the new school. The fact is before him Hip Hop was going in one direction and now it's going in a completely different direction. The last time some thing this dramatic happened was when Nas dropped Illmatic.

If nothing else he should be applauded for injecting the game with some much need testosterone.

Blasphemy.

When they are doing a special on this kid 15 years from now remember that Big James from the IC called it. LOL

It was a solid verse. I'm in the middle on Kendrick. Don't hate him or love him. It was a good verse. Slaughter House had a better cypher and Crooked I's verse was better than Kendrick's.

Conclusion: Kendrick's being over hyped and given a title as the "best" that he doesn't really deserve. You can tell he's feeling himself a lil too much. Whenever that wave go away he's gonna regret calling out so many ppl

Kendrick feelin himself, verse was just above average. Jay Rock killed that shit though. Drake was right though, that Control shit was fleeting, now he's gonna start gettin graded hard as fuck. And that ain't even fair cause Control wasn't even THAT good lyrically

dont question just accept

You just gotta sit back & watch the game bruh, watch how these niggas committ a switch-a-roo if Kdot falls off

I remember before the BET awards came on & he dropped that 15 second snippet verse, everybody was gassing like "ohhhhhhhh if you think control was bad then hear what he say in the cypher" then I read the lyrics & I'm like "so that's it?". I swear niggas do the most

testosterone would be using your talent and influence to challenge the system because its fucking us all over not challenging other rappers who are paid by the same people who got a big financial stake in fucking us all over.

with all the shit going on in the world right now i never woulda guessed the kendrick i heard on section 80 wouldnt use such an opportunity to at least drop a couple jewels... but i think i got the wrong impression offa section 80 in retrospect.

im tired of that prepackaged rebellion, internally aimed aggresion, narcissistic type cloud that hovers over rap in general. its just tired... i dont see him challenging that which means the direction of the game aint really changing if hes the current king of the hill

no nigga. i know what i know and i stand on it. i know that verse was borderline wack if it werent for those sparse zingers and not worth the hype at all. thats the subject at hand.

Man go over there with with that shit. Not everybody is a revolutionary and what he did was what was needed at this particular time in hip-hop. There a plenty of guys who drop gems in hip hop so if Kendrick doesn't want to play in that lane I have no problem with it. As long as he is staying true the craft that's all that I need from music.

im not talking about revolution nigga. its as simple as survival and social responsibility. niggas is sleeping with the enemy and that aint no conspiracy shit. anyway...

CRITICAL QUESTIONS

1) explain WHY it was needed?

2) is the industry and those in it the end all be all of what is hip-hop?

3) Define being true to the craft

what the fuck is "hate" tho? thats a general ass term used to gloss over specifics... like HOW is the nigga so swiftly succesful? who are his benefactors and what are their interests? their track record? that "hate" shit need to rest... imo its just some shit buffoons say to make suckiling the teat of status quo seem "cool"
