understood, but molly references only been getting dropped since like last year it aint been going on that long. aint like the auto tune age. that crap was goin on for like 3 years straight. even after Jigga killed it it took another year to go away. heck, this kid Future even brought it back to life.

I wholeheartedly agree by the way. Shit has gotten out of hand. Never knew grown ass adults actions could really be influenced by rap music let alone kids but it really does.

It's best to kill the problem early before it becomes an epidemic.

The thing about Jay and the "D.O.A" joint is that he waited a little too late to say something about it..and he's also guilty of it considering he had traces of it on The Blueprint 3 album, the fact remains that he's a premier voice in this game and let it be known..but by the time he did, autotune was full blown all over by the likes of T-Pain, Lil Wayne and his little brother Kanye.

Whats next, niggas gonna start going anti weed in rap and stop reppin their hood because too many other niggas say those words and its "watering down the culture"?

For a person who spits smart shit he's pretty stupid.

Hip hop has always gone hand in hand with the drug culture and nowadays niggas on molly so thats what they gonna talk about whether they can rap or not, I dont really see why somebody would bother to lie about taking that or "having that lifestyle" like he's implying. There is just a genuine boom in that drug right now, like it or not.

Molly not even that bad compared to other shit niggas been and still talking about for stupid long... Thats a bitch move really, too not go at cocaine, violence, or hell even swag or the word trap or something thats actually worthwhile

I think this guy needs to learn how to pick better battles, cause this isnt even one

This nigga sounding like Fox News out here, with the exclusive story:

MOLLY POPPING EPIDEMIC CAUSING MASS SWEATINGS ACCROSS AMERICA

Nice try Kendrick, but not really

It ain't like he lying tho.

Damn near every mainstream record got a reference to molly its getting old.

Wouldn't be a problem if it was just adults listening to it but kids are easily influenced and doing it. that's a problem.

"And I don't like your legs less the at the roof,

pedicures towards the ceiling mollies in the cabinet too"

It's just weird because I don't really remember an abundance of people using syrup and other drugs that were referenced on tracks in the past. But this molly shit b. I swear to God I never heard of a molly before I started hearing it in rap songs about a year ago. All of a sudden EVERYBODY I know does the shit. People talkin bout snorting the shit and everything. I don't know what the detrimental effects are and if it's even that bad but still.. As casually as it's referenced in records I believe it definitely influences kids.

I don't support censorship and I think the media often oversensationalizes the effect of rap on society like talk about shooting people or even moving packs I don't think can really be influenced by rap like that. But this molly shit is just different b. It's like society is becoming more and more experimental with drugs. Like muh fuckas can't just be satisfied with regular weed and drink like that shit don't damage your body enough as it is. I even think that the whole "weed rap" shit is corny too.

I think what Kendrick is saying it seems like everyone is on that shit because others are and cats just don't know how to be individuals. Maybe that's just me though. I'm a hypocrite though because I love some Schoolboy Q or Danny Brown or Gucci Mane.. but once everyone is doing the same shit, it gets out of hand.

Okay...That's what I thought the statement was sposed to mean...He right, it's corny, it's played out...And most the niggas rappin about it and/or singin along to the songs have never had real Molly...They also think its somethin new, as if white people ain't been on pure MDMA for years now...The whole thing is just becoming over saturated...When you got people protesting actin like Molly is a date rape drug, you know you have an abundance of people who have no true knowledge of what the drug is or what it does...

Niggas are followers. Make a song about "poppin bottles" now everybody pops bottles. Make a song about "po'n up" and now everybody wants to po up. Its really corny, niggas just try too hard to be cool or trendy. 50 making songs about smoking weed when he doesn't smoke...shits ridiculous. Poisoning yourself is "cool" huh
