i just posted another link and another poster put up a tweet link..what more do you want? He's gonna not be able to gain any fans for expressing his view...wow really

if u dont keep up with the nig then dont talk about sh*t you dont know, i dont keep up with him, but i know he's made enough of a name for hisself that he is touring overseas.....most katz you dont hear from do numbers overseas

the roots band makes a killing over seas..when was their last number one hit on the radio?? Ok my point proven.

and laughin at you saying his career's over..why cuz you dont hear him? so in order for you to have a career you need to be on a top ten radio station, mtv and doing shows in madison square garden..huh? Is that was a career is? Wow i thought it meant to have a means of living well for yourself..

*shrugs shoulders*

your stannery is showing.....

this thread is about hoe joe buddens feels about todays hip hop fans and i posted how I felt, no one told you to quote me. You don't keep up with him yet you know his touring schedule? His career is over, hence him doing overseas gigs because if he was still popping he wouldn't be performing in hole-in-the-wall clubs in the states. Why do you keep bringing up radio and Madison Square Garden?

Here's my thing: why are people discrediting Joe Budden for what he said if they're also admitting he's right about it. To that regard, it wouldn't matter WHO said this, it doesn't change the message nor cushion the blow.

Devil's Advocate question: if Jay-Z - or better yet, Drake - said this, how much "support" and co-sign would this debate have gotten?

That's one of the main things JB was talking about.

cause Joe Budden doesn't know what he talking about and he only discrediting the genre because he not at the forefront

ha ha "stanning" or i'm just more knowledgeable then you? An u can find anything using google..i suggest u do the same....so at first he wasnt doing tours over seas..but now doing tours over seas is cuz his career is over? Soo every venue these artist perform in are always state of the art...get your knowledge up

luda for example who is a big artist has come to boston and done shows in rat holes......that doesnt mean anything...tour money is tour money..and "radio stations and madison square garden" was to prove a point which u have no clue what that is.

anyone co signing this clown saying that country music fans are more "savvy" than hip hop fans really need to think about that...

he pretty much shitting on the intelligence of black hip hop fans...

and he is guilty of trying to shit on old school niggas, so I don't get his grandstanding...

matter fact none of those assholes in that room know anything about shit...

and i guess the niggas dont have satellite/internet radio, because their are old school channels...

Real shit if i was a joe budden fan who has paid to see this nigga in concert , paid for his music etc. I would feel real disrespected because he just shitted on you.

That's like McDonalds coming out and saying people who eat fast food are the worst. It's different when you say hip hop is messed up from the industry corporate side but you saying the fans suck . Fuck Joe Budden

you are mad confused...

but for the sake of argument, why don't these mythical "white fans who listen to black artists" support black artists like they do Eminem?

you think white people didnt help jay z and 2pac get to the sales they are at?

go ask a typical country music fan the same shit...

i could..and i'm sure i'll get better answers then i get from some hip hop fans, and i'm also not the one who has a problem with his statement...YOU HAVE THE PROBLEM

Yeah that cornball assessment about country fans being more savvy was some house-nigga shit.

LOL @ some Hillbilly chewing tobacco in a trailer-park listening to Billy Ray Cyrus being more savvy than a Med student who listens to Canibus during finals.

1st off Joe Budden is protecting his boss

2nd niggas do fall off

3rd how many other genres have artists signing to other artists and stopping them from putting out music

4th what other genre has the artists and labels devalued the music

Jimi Hendrix and Eminem are not a good comparsion . Blacks created Rock music and Jimi Hendrix changed the

game at the time with his style of play. What has Eminem done to change the game? On another note some

Rock fans shit on artists they don't like ,say the current state of the music suck and only listen to old shit. Once a

rock band switch or go commercial they don't fuck with them no more (ie Fall Out Boy). Paramore and King of

Leon get shitted on all the time. So what is we talking about really.

Yeah okay , but in what other genres...do you hear fans discredit artist accomplishments because of dumb reasons like that?

yes but in what other genre's do you find different races of artists

hip hop is the only genre with every race in it

there is no asian r n b singer

there is no black country star

there is no puerto rican heavy metal artist

but in hip hop each and every race has a WELL KNOWN producer, rapper, and dj. and thats just the music aspect. graffitti and hip hop dance also has these things

its not the hip hop fans. ITS THE ARTISTS and ive been saying this!! one of the only groups who would not except any ole body in the rap game was wu tang. all these other artists is going around high fiving all these artists who put out this bullshit, "showing love" to them etc no matter what detriment they bring to the forefront of the culture. back in the day you got clowned by everyone who was respectable if you tried to take the spotlight on some wack shit. you got ur ass beat if you werent nice or if you did something that hip hop didnt stand for

take this video we are watching

joe budden ... now joe budden got punched in the face by wu tang for some comments he made ... ok blah blah blah thats all fine and dandy..... joe budden is a good rapper, he can get punched in the face and we are cool with that because wu tang is also good/great and sometimes titans clash. but what about dude mickey facts??? dude just sat there and acted like he didnt see his man get stole on. now if you flipped the table, and ice cube ran or didnt do shit after easy e got punched in the face, ICE CUBE WOULD HAVE BEEN EXILED FROM HIP HOP. nobody even spoke about mickey facts when that shit went down not even joe budden did and that is proof of my point.

now its 2011, so i dont expect there to be people getting beat up cause they failed at trying to write a good rap. but what im saying is the essence and that tight knit almost fraternal order in hip hop is not there. when hammer came out he was straight ... then he went to far image wise. everybody from the hit squad (epmd) to 3rd bass etc went at him for that. and it wasnt like some mass email was sent out to do so or people were making calls. everybody did it because it violated hip hop as a culture. hip hop is lead by THE ARTIST .... not the fan. if 50 cent and rick ross are battling, dressing up like pimps with curly hair, approaching and using each others baby moms to dig dirt up on each other etc, then it is the responsiblity of other credible artists to say "man yall niggas kill that shit ... shit aint even about nothing and yall are making fools out of yourselves and its not good for this business and culture that is feeding all of us!!"

but since artists dont do that, of course young impressionable kids arent going to, and this doesnt even mention the fans who arent from a "hip hop" background who also happen to be the biggest consumers of the art.
