After hearin some songs on the stream, and just now listening to it full in order, my initial thoughts:

-Album is not very good.

-No soul

-VERY influenced by the Chief Keef demographic smh

-Timbo...thanks again you fuker

-Jay's ear for beats AND lyrics are fallin off

Disapointed.

Seems like you stanned yourself into oblivion and even if this was the best album in the last 10 years....you still wouldn't be satisfied...



Anyway you're in the minority, early reviews world wide are calling this shit dope AF...

I updated my thoughts on it...like i said, its just gettin used to this version of jay.

Once the excitement of 'new jay-z!', wears off, yall will come down to.earth.

The production is straight, but not fit for Jay z.

Only truly stand out songs are Oceans, On the Run, and FUTW.

If i could give you 10 GOATs for this post, i would. This is so true. It's the event of it that

makes it look better & larger than it is. But, it's also the event that makes some people dislike it

instanctly so it's a 50/50 thing.

It's the same thing with Kanye and all those. Remember when Jay dropped Kingdome Come? Niggas was defending it to the grave. Now? They look back at it & call it average/wack/mediocre or whatever.

The whole deal with Samsung has been done before btw. I told ya niggas. Not exactly like that but that alotta rappers be having endorsement companies that their in business with cop joints to add to their brand. So the bigger their brand the more they can promote their endorsement.

How Jay needed to be saved?Watch he Thrown did great and BP3 did great too

it has some southern influence w/ some tracks, but it's very much traditional hip hop w/ some gangsta rap and a little pop

This album was produced mostly by Eastcoast producers. If VA is southern in Hip Hop then Miami is in the Caribbean because Ross had to fake a southern accent.

now the question is, jayz has had two different careers....one of the top rappers from RD to BP, then one of the most overrated after that.....so has anyone ever fallen off more than jayz? considering he's supposed to be one of the top rappers ever i don't think anyone's fallen this far before

at this point in their career's yes emeinem is better than jayz by far, at least he still flows and makes quality songs....this album just sounds really lazy or just rushed, not really sure but jayz has fallen the fuck off

it's sad when he puts out junk like blueprint 3....but that album crushes this
