This album is... ok. It's not bad, doesn't have as many bad songs as BP3 or Vol 3. I'll put it in the realm of Dynasty, BP2 and Vol 1... they all have their strong moments, but some weak ones as well. The difference with this is, those moments are more spread out, so it averages out. There's no real standout song to me. Jay doesn't have that flare anymore, son is all wordplay now. But Heaven, Jay Z Blue, and Oceans are hard as fuck lyrically. As for Tim... dude went the fuck off. I said it before, niggas like Tim don't fall off. They just wait in the wings then hit you with some other shit. Production wise this reminds me of Missy Elliot's Under Construction... in the sense that this may set off a whole new era of sound birthed by Tim. Matter of fact, fuck Jay Z, this got me anticipating a new Missy album now.
