I didn't read all the lyrics, but if you can honestly sit there and say that ALL Jay raps about are 'bitches, money, cars', then your comprehension skills are poor. There are almost always extra layers of meaning in his lyrics, even if they look shallow at face value.

Further, it ISN'T the content that really matters when you're evaluating art; it's how the artist uses that content. Having 'morally superior' content does not necessarily make a song good. For instance, Beautiful by Eminem has 'good' content but the mediocre, cliched lyrics paired with the boring and hollow delivery, make for an underwhelming song. On the other hand, Niggas in Paris has 'shallow' content but its humor and execution makes it great.

I saw on TV this morning the original Magna Carta proclamation document preserved in a glass showcase in some musuem in England. The BBC aired it on some antique show. It wasn't even a recent programme ..

Dates back to 1215 and was decreed by King John and Richard I .. .
