How does he want that lane when...

1. There was no single for this album...

2. The first thing you hear in this album is Justin Timberlake...

...Just stop, cuh...

Crown, fukwitme, Beach is better r all in clearly in that lane.

And La Familia, my goodness u can even tell thats his playful version of a chief keef song. B4 u say he from chi we clearly know where that style come from

So, he's trying to merge into the dirty south lane by having 4 songs out of 16 being in that lane? Interesting.

Considering u couldnt name more than 4 beats like that on an album over 16 years, total, yes.

Just some shit to throw out there, but Jay-Z is the first rapper to still be even remotely relevant at 43, let alone dropping #1 albums and still "on top of the game". A lot of that is due in part to how young Hip-Hop is compared to other forms of music, but still...the point is, props to Jay for that if nothing else. Pop and Rock artists drop albums and sell out shows into their 70's. Everything Jay does from this point on is new territory for Hip-Hop.

I still see alot of complaining ass niggas in here.

Niggas want Jay to spit some Reasonable Doubt combined with Illmatic, with a touch of Paid In Full with the beats of Late Registration using the flow of Rakim with the soul of 2pac. Anything else is mediocre

There is no wack song on this album, Vol 1 and 2 got a couple of wack songs...ie,,,I know what girls like, sunshine, face off, etc.

Vol 2 was just really commercial

lol dead

I think dudes have unreal expectations with some of these rappers. like they expect every album to be classic or groundbreaking. but that "nothing to prove" excuse doesn't excuse wackness. jays been off these pass few years

but this album is flames in my opinion. nothing too special but I fuck with it
