I blame the media, and a lot of these magazines. And also Tyler Perry. Lot of these media outlets got a lot of black women wanting the same kinda men they see in movies, tv shows, or books. The type of brotha that's over 6th, built, romantic/thuggish/sensitive, financially set to take of them, understands her, reads her mind, listens, blah blah blah. It's just goes on forever. All those things i listed, a lot of women expect to find that the instant they meet a man. This why I hate "waiting to exhale". I don't blame the media, I blame the gullible women that eat this up and think they automatically deserve it just for being them.

That kind of man is ideal, but any realistic woman realizes she won't get this immediately after meeting/dating a man. Hell, a lot of men aren't into their emotions like that, so the "sensitive" thing especially takes some time--I know this from experience.
