Yo, you know what would be a good idea? If ALLHIPHOP came out with a double disk cd. One disk with famous rappers and the second disk, up and comming rappers on the reason that got skills. Yes, no? I would support my IC brethren

Who would you vote on there?

damn Cain garbage tho? lol iont think im as bad as a lot of yall make me out to be i neva claimed i was a superstar or great but im not garbage haha

that makes almost too much sense..

Its pay to play ain't no body putting out a mixtape for free including ALLHIPHOP(Vibe Magazine). They would do it but it would cost for placement on the tape.

word some of these cats can't take criticism i give axel his props at least he's trying.

that's why i can't respect niggas like waka flocka because they are content with being wack.

The bolded is why I respect Axel.Even though I don't like your music you didn't come in here with your feelings talking shit. I believe you don't try hard enough when you rhyme bruh. You get off beat like Silk Da Shocker but your way more talented than that ass clown you just don't take this shit serious IMO.

Critics are gonna be harsh but that's what a artist needs. Like when Supreme first drop a song he had garbage as mic and you barely hear him. He took the advice and got better quality equipment anf sounded a 100x better.

da 2 tracks in my sig was more of my serious efforts but in all honesty im pretty much done trynna persue rap as a career too many niggaz trynna rap nd its a slim chance for me. dat phase is ova im trynna get into da broadcasting field as a career now, i'll make tracks occasionally cuz i have fun wit it but trynna get into da industry or promote heavy aint happening lls

Wanted to know if anyone wanted to hop on a track with me. I got a 12 bar verse written for the AZ-Format beat. Wanted to throw in a hook (we can talk about that) and see if someone from the IC wanted to do a 12 bar verse as well. Figured its about time for another IC collab yo.

The subject matter in my verse is similar to this track. You can listen and see if my style is in your lane or not. If it is, we can make something happen nh.

Tbh nowa days I don't put nothing past anybody. Becoming famous isn't some magic trick like it once was just do something extremely stupid or controversial and BAM over night sensation. Now what u do with that is on u.

The one that's the most Multi-talented with the biggest buzz and most hustle.

If you been rapping on the I.C. for the past 5 years and you still ain't got your music on DatPiff or ITunes & some visuals on YouTube/WSHH then you not even serious about being a rapper in this industry.

If I'm building a brand and a label then I want to fuck with hustlers that rap or rappers that know how to hustle not some

half-ass wannabe trying to impress some avatar on a random rap website with some half-ass raps about Anime just for fun.

I'm not signing rappers over thirty or under twenty, no Nerd-core, no White, no female, no clones, just a street savvy brother with skills, hustle, marketability, vision, ambition, and music that the public will support.

Narrow that shit down to 5 on here.

The bolded is why I said what I said. Lot of these cats is hobby rappers or on here for giggles and jokes who spent there parents money on equipment that will gather dust in a year or two.

I think Goobs is horrible but that nigga's hustle is stronger than all these niggas. Axel is garbage as well but he will take a diss and keep trying to be better. Menace try's to hard to be a thug in his raps and every other word is a cuss word. Stop limiting your vocab to just saying curse words open a dictionary learn and grow. Eyeronic and Supreme them dudes are good and take critic's concern and at least try to be better. Most of these so called rappers are playing around and not serious so I criticize them harshly on purpose. It's a million cats wanting to rap and maybe 10 will get a deal an become a star. If you want this shit try harder and take this shit serious.

LOL @ this.... trying to be a thug? never said I was... Im guessing you havent heard music from me in a while?

I been dropping some dope songs with little cussing

thats the thing tho...being famous & being RICH are 2 diff things. fuck fame if you aint getting money.

I agree but this is the entertainment industry we are talking about. The ppl behind the scenes get the most money but the fans don't invest until they think u have money already. Nobody cares for the come up anymore.

But Fame is a gateway of getting money if there is some substance or talent behind it.

TBH I think guys like Eyerone & True God would serve betta as independent artist i cant picture either one of em trynna make pop type records to appeal to da mainstream

I'm game... you sure you don't wanna add 4 bars to that and make it a 16? I usually write like crazy, so it's gonna be hard to wittle it down to 12.

serious question.

how many of yall actually make money off your music?

Just curious.

Well I got 2 jobs and get financial aid so I pay for my own studio equipment which allows me to have my own studio and let some of my boys come to my crib and record I charge em 15$ an hour for studio time. When I'm done with my tape i'll be pushing it for 5$ each copy

no one said what kind of label you would have to have around the artists though. You could easily make A Rawkus Records type of label with those rappers
