I think Adam had daughters just like the other people, but wanted to throw in Noah was also supposedly well beyond 500 years old, maybe the first people of god lived a long time?

That would have to be the only explanation to me, why would God even have a good reason to shorten our lifespan? I dont recall anything in the bible as to why, even read the lost gospels and nothing so im lost on it, maybe RUgoin2heaven can enlighten us as to why our lives are shorter.

Im waiting for someone to also come in and say we are taking it to literally and then saying he didnt really live that long its just a metaphor for a long time.
