Woke up feeling pretty decent pain wise this morning. I still have some pain, but its only when i bend in certain positions so I made it to the gym this morning. Was able to complete my normal routine with regular weight except i didnt bother doing bent over rows today haha. Surprised squats didnt hurt at all. Made a gain in Bench today as well. Have my first adjustment this morning so hopefully that will make the ache go away or get better.

Do you were a weightlifting belt?? Makes a difference IMO.

I've used them before, but I havent been recently. I dont think my gym has them and i havent gone to buy one yet. I agree though they do make a difference and over the weekend i was considering buying one haha. Might grab one after work someday.

Yeah man a good one is $50 and last years. Saves your back. Especially when you go heavy and up high in reps.

Does anyone take Pre workout/Protein/Amino Supplements??

Friend of mine stopped going to the gym and gave me this to try:

Tastes pretty good and i make a awesome Strawberry Cheesecake shake out of it, but as far as benefits from it I cant really tell if its making me more muscular or stronger or whatever these supplements are supposed to do. He also gave me the Amino's jug that is another powder you mix in water and drink anytime of the day to help with muscle recovery.

Anyone take any and able to recommend some low carb brands and maybe explain the benefits if any?

Protein does not build muscle it also helps with the recovery.

Only time I take shakes is if I didn't eat anything before the gym. Aminos are good helps your body process and absorb protein. I don't really have a specific brand I mess with, usually go with the gnc whey. And for aminos I been going with BPI's best aminos.

Finished off leg day with a brutal leg circuit today. 10 weighted jump squats, 10 weighted front squats, 10 weighted suitcase lifts, with weighted wall sits for as long as you can stand it, drop the weight, and continue as long as you can. Repeat 3Xs. I started with a 45 pound plate first round second I dropped to a quarter plate, third went with the 10 pound plate. Honestly would of been a good warm up circuit, it was no fun at the end of the workout though.

I ALMOST made it 3 miles without walking today. I ALMOST died too.

Then I did kettlebell swings, hanging leg and knee raises and chest press.

Its really weird, my back has been feeling better, but the Chiropractor wasnt able to pop it because my back was really tight at the time of the appointment. The soreness came back late last night and this morning (probably from laying down so much) so i was kind of hesitant to do the Kettlebell swings. I did my jogging and was still tense and sore, but i think those kettlebell swings stretched my back out or something cuz it feels 90% better at the moment. What a miracle exercise.

Then you got a shitty chiropractor and you need to seek new council haha

Cool podcast for those who got time to listen in the day. Joe Rogan's podcast this episode is with Dorian Yates a British Body Builder. Some cool info on some things.

I think I will be good on supplements for a while.

Can you kinda detail what all you got? Or recommend a few things for a supplement beginner?

Whats that Keto Bomb?!

Its mostly just BCAA's and amino acids some preworkouts and protein packs, BCAA and aminos are pretty much the same thing. BCAA are the aminos that are primarily used by your muscles for growth, they are the 3 essential aminos for muscle growth, And normal aminos will give you those three and a broad spectrum of the rest to help with other functions. the keto bomb is ijust coffe creamer for people on a keto diet. I'm not on a keto diet, and barley drink coffee, but had my guy throw in a few basically because he was giving it away.

Ah dope, i bet that creamer is pretty good. I do a bulletproof coffee if i have time in the morning. Will make a pot of coffee, put in blender, add 2tb of Butter, 2tb of Coconut Oil (ideally you should use MCT oil, but i havent bought any yet) then blend it up, then add in some heavy whipping cream once you pour into mug or w/e you use.

It sounds gross, but the shit is fucking delicious!
