Been on the low carb diet for bout 4 weeks, lost bout 10 pounds and 6 inches off my waist, it was hard cutting out so many things i love to eat but its been worth it, my overall health has improved and feel and look way better than i used too, gonna keep going

I've been doing a low carb diet for a couple years now and made amazing progress all without even going to the gym. I've just recently started going to the gym these last few months. Definitely improved a lot of health things for me. Stick with it.

For me it wasn't too hard giving up sugar, my mom hates chocolate and candy and soda so it was never in the house. Her and her husband didn't know shit about food though and neither did i, so I grew up on microwavable foods and top ramen unless my mom cooked something but it almost always involved pasta or bread. After I had to stop playing football I wasn't nearly as active as I once was and eventually got a desk job and was surviving off of pretty much just carbs and got myself up to 300lbs. In 2014 I learned about the ketogenic diet and researched the fuck out of it and started, then within a month i lost 20lbs. Kept with it and I'm currently at 180-185. Gaining a bit more weight though with the muscle the gym is getting me. Shit blew my mind though how important the food we put in our body is and what a difference it makes. Now if I eat something processed or super sugary it makes me feel like shit for the rest of the day.

I need to start juicing though. I eat a decent amount of green vegetables but its usually not until dinner. I heard juicing vegetables getting all those nutrients in the beginning of your day makes you feel really really good.

Nice I do the same with fast food if I'm in a hurry. Bacon and eggs are my typical breakfast. To add some veggies I started frying radishes and eating them with bacon and eggs. Pretty good alternative to hashbrowns/fried potatoes.

To mix things up I will make some cream cheese pancakes with sugar free syrup or almond butter. I eat a lot of green beans as well, I like to mix in cream cheese while it's cooking and add in some heavy cream and mushrooms. It's like a thick cream of mushroom soup on the beans. More like a sauce actually. Look up some keto meals though and give them a try low carb and delicious and good way to find new veggies you might like.

Whats your daily carbs? I like to stay under 20, usually in the teens

I eat under 25 net carbs a day. I know a lot of people that count total carbs but that's too crazy for me. Fiber is a super important nutrient and those total carb folks act like it will send their blood glucose through the roof

And I make sure my fat intake is like 70% of my macros. Since I've been working out I eat a lot more protein though so I'd say on a average day I'll eat like 110g of fat, 90ish protein and 25 or less net carbs

Fast food is not your fav food bruh, ITS THE SUGGAR THAT TELLS YOU THAT. It target your rewarding part of your brain and tricks you to go FOR MORE THAN YOU NEED.

Get away from it and change your life. Carbs aint bad, they are indeed NECESSARY, ITS JUST THAT WE ARE TAKING MORE THAN WE REALLY NEED. WAYYYYYY TOO MUCH.

How do you notice it ? BELLY FAT, UNSEABLE ABS AFTER DOING THOUSANDS OF CRUNCHES AND OTHER STUFF.

Control your carbs. Dont overeat.

Just finished up. Did some of those seated military presses. Nothing crazy, just 3x10. 20lbs, 25, and 30lbs. Was easy, but i could still feel the stress on my shoulder. It's been so long since I've worked them out though that i can feel the tightness/soreness haha. Will start doing those warm ups you guys posted vids of

Today was cardio and core day. I did 120 kettlebell swings and 50 of those hanging leg raises after running a few miles on the treadmill. Those leg raises ain't no joke lol, I haven't been working out my core as good as I thought I was after experiencing those leg raises. Gonna add those and possibly some more stuff for core days
