how far are you into your studies?

The low carb diet is cutting the fat after two weeks. I can eat cheese again. Fat is my training fuel now.

Economically i m gaining money buy byuing vegan stuff 80 % of the time. I get 30g of protein with barely no sugar with natural soy milk. Also a 200 vegan steak cost me less than 4 dollars and provides me from 30 to 60 gr of protein, healthy fats and barely np carbs and no sugar.

Next month i got a PT test so ill see how far can a kettlebell training can take you on a treadmill

Squatting with no shoes on. Yay or nay?

If Low bar? Yes, flat shoes, socks or barefoot work well.

If High bar? No. Olympic or squatting shoes generally work best even if your ankle mobility is already on point.

I wouldn't suggest sneakers or running shoes either way.

today was just one of the days i didnt have it at all straight zombie status

It's like that sometimes....

Sometimes on those days you can mentally overcome the feeling, have a great workout, and surpass previous bests.....

Sometimes just drop the weight and do more reps....

Sometimes just leave, save the energy, and come back strong the next day.....

Gotta know when to hold em and when to fold em'

2 questions

how often are you guys sprinting?

what are your fitness goals over the next month, or two?

Q1. I usually sprint during the hills on my runs and when I play soccer (sprinting on and off the ball etc). But I dont have dedicated sprint workout outs.

Q2.

-By Nov 1st I should be down to 230 lbs flat. So about 15lbs to go for me.

-1900-2000 calories daily. 7 days a week.

-3 mile runs every other day. So 12 miles a week.

-When I get to 225 lbs I'll get throw in weight training, but for now, just going back to the basics, the most important being what I eat.

End goal is to get between 185-195. About 50lbs to go. From an all time high of 275 at 5'11. Long journey but still getting there.

Im in my final semester of college and this is prime recruiting season. I want to attack my fitness and future career steps with the same intensity. Theyre to go hand in hand. It's gonna be a disciplined semester.

good shit fam.

I started at 262+ and got down to about 215. I took some time off and went back up to 243. Now I'm down to 230 w/ more muscle mass. I'm going to get down to 220ish and decide where to go from there.

yesterdays workout before work

7 Min Run

7 Incline BP/7 Crossovers X 6

5 Deads/3 Chin Ups/5 Seated Rows X 5

Then I moved thru Shoulders, T-Rows, and Bicep Curls

after work this morning

20 Burpees

7 Min Deadlifts

35 Reps on Decline Bench

Bicep Burnout

Also, I broke a 24 hr fast at 10 PM last night. Trying out "IF" a few days each week. Its what got me down to 230 in the last week.

it's cheaper to eat a few peanut butter sandwiches throughout the day.

ppl are such in a rush to gain weight. as you get older your metabolism will slow down, so don't rush would be

lift and eat; the gains will come... and when you rest they will come more.

5-9

Before work:

hit chest and back pretty good.

after work:

did a 25 min round of squats, push ups and different shoulder and trap exercises.

then I walked a half lap, did 7 sprints, walked another half lap, ran a full lap, then hit a nice cool down.

Im not working for any goal body per se, just to get into ideal shape and fitness. I know my body will take care of the rest

Running with Music vs No Music?

Which camp are you in and why?

Personally I run with music, helps drown out my breathing and feet planting on the floor. Trying to switch over to running without music so I can take better track of my breathing and run "with a clear head"

Ehhh depends on what type of run. I usually run with but its more relaxing to run without it and just here the sounds of the environment

Gotta have music at all times. For me, it makes the time on the treadmill go by faster.
