Right now I'm targeting about 1.75-2 per week until June. So roughly 20lbs. When I get down to that I look to lose about 1.25-1.5 until I head off to London on Aug 12th. Once you start dropping pounds it becomes tougher to maintain that 2lbs a week rate.

Right now I'm looking for a nice reward system. I think at 230 lbs I'll go for some new clothes.

I'm roughly 248, 5'11.

Cutting calories to about 2,000. I usually walk about 2 miles a day just going to and from classes and other campus events.

Play soccer about twice a week and usually run 10-12 miles a week. I drink sparingly and don't

Even if i dont get 230 exact but get like 233 by first week of June, the progress alone is a win.

At 230 I'll then incorporate weights.

218 by Mid-August is definitley reasonable

I'd say incorporate lifting right now to even when cutting still can gain strength and keep muscle definition. 218 would be a good weight at your height I'm 6,6 about 215 220 range.

Personally though I place a higher emphasis on cardio and still think I look good/ everyone thinks I'm bigger then I actually am (weightwise)

I think 205 might be a bit better. I'm naturally on the bigger side so I'd like to see what 195-205 would look like. I'm keeping emphasis on cardio for now since I'm taking classes, working and interning. Running is better for my schedule. Quick 30-40 min run, shower, change and I'm out the door. I feel like I don't get as much 'pure workout per minute' when I do the gym.

I'd like to keep my routine simple for now, until summer when I have a lightened load. Plus I gain muscle definition pretty quickly. 3 weeks in the gym and I'd be looking pretty jacked.

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep you posted on my progress.

@Recaptimus_Prime360 it wouldn't be the IC without some roasting lol. I used to do 20-25 dumbbells now I'm sticking to 30 for now until I feel I've conquered it then maybe move up.
