I don't really like powerlifting. Feel like alot (not all) use it as an excuse to be fat as fuck and do no cardiovascular at all.

There are tons of powerlifters who aren't fat. Powerlifting is my favorite as I like having that brute strength.

It was Freezing this morning!!!!!.

Had me out here looking like Sub Zero/Scorpion on a hybrid with Christmas lights ha!

I did it though.. knocked my time down 10 more min. Ugh... still got a ways to go.

Ok I gotta look into this kettle bar thing. Lem be promoting that s***.

@Lem what's the benefits? I'm curious. Do you bulk or get stronger faster then pushing regular weights?

There is the first Phase where you will learn the basic moves

Swings

Clean

Snatch

Jerks

Turkish get up

At this Phase, from 35 lbs to 48lbs you will have corrected your posture, learned to brace your Abs and glutes WHENEVER you do an exercise, increased your cadio and burnt a lot of fat, especially with swings and snatches.

The fat LOSS can be severe.

You might Witness how you really look.

Once you start DOUBLING the weight, and start doing advanced moves like

More than 100lbs Double swings

Seated military presses

Snatch and Lunge

Frog squat

Heavy windmills

Snatch and windmills

Heavy rows, renegade or common ones

You might see your weight Increasing but this time its will be more muscles than fat. Or you will increase you muscle definition.

If you TRANSLATE into gym exercises you will obtain a benchpress, squat, dumbell Progression cause your joints, abs, shoulders, posture, breathing technique have evolved or for the least got back to normalcy.

Lol those wagon wheels got yall fooled huh?

Those are for max outs. Puts the bar at varying heights. Lmao

No. I know what wagon wheels are. If you're talking about the deadlift those are regular ol plates.

These are wagon wheels (first plate in the thumbnail and at @ 8:12 )

So let me guess, they using wagon wheels on the pulls in competition setting records too...(same broad in deadlift video).....(at 3:08).?

Ain't nobody using wagon wheels on week 3s when running 531 unless they're a dumb ass or doing them as an accessory for their lockout .

I'm not saying all some are legit as fuck. Just even at my school niggas who don't look like they could walk down a block without getting gassed calming they powerlifters. And they don't even DL or squat

If I don't go to the gym, I feel funny. It's feels like second nature to go to the gym now

That's how I feel too even tho I only go on the weekends. I workout at home during the week but if I take a day off then I feel unproductive

Working out when you got the gym all to yourself = GOATNESS

Even tho it is my apartment's gym, but still.

It's most definitely. I remember last year on New Year's Eve I fell up in an empty gym. It was the GOAT

Agree with the empty gyms, yesterday I ran the beach for the first time in a long time, the whole strip and back is about 6 miles or so and I probably only ran by a few people, shit was empty because of the weather but I could give a fuck I was loving it I'm taking advantage as long as the weather permits, it's nice for this time of year

nigga what is your point?

The point was I posted a video with someone deadlifting and you said that people are being fooled by wagon wheels when there were none being used.

Now if you were not talking about the video that I posted, then my bad as I posted the only video on that page with dead lifts where wagon wheels are commonly used as an accessory for dead lifts (lockouts and hip drive - top third of ROM).

ahh i see...

that's all he does in the gym is bench that's why he is able to do that.

benching has been his only focus for years.

damn his muscle imbalance has to be crazy he will never step on a stage, or win a powerlifting competition, but he will crush his weightclass in bench comps....when ever they have those...

makes sense when you think about it.

Likely unless he just doesn't post videos of other training. Since he's always wearing pants in his training videos either he just likes wearing pants or legs are shitty. Either way that's on him and I'm cool with someone being an expert at one thing (eg bench press) because I can learn from them to improve my own.

I believe he's somewhere down south, but here in Northern Cali they have individual lift competitions damn near monthly (bench, squat, deadlift, curls) along with random Crossfit and Powerlifting competitions.
