it allowed for unfair conclusions to be drawn....
initially every person that explained this to ms S agreed with her that many undesirable qualities can be associated with a broke man, and while we absolutely understood where she was coming from, blanket statements like that run the risk of being taken the wrong way...

i remember a chick on here once told a story about how this dude owned a few buildings he was renting out... like the entire buildings, but he straight up was the janitor of the buildings himself... dude was really obsessive compulsive about his shit, so he stayed working in all his buildings making sure they were right...
given this, he wasn't always dressed to kill, cuz sometimes you gotta do some dirty work in them shits....
well she was like one day her home girl was in the lobby or something looking damn righteous, talking with her when the dude was coming through, he saw her and was like "damn whassup"
but all this chick saw was janitor...thought he was broke and brushed him off......
then like 5 mins later they saw him pull off in his bmw, and her girl then informed her that he was the owner of the building....shorty heart was crushed cuz she thought he was just a broke ass janitor,... when in actuality nothing could have been further from the truth, this nigga was super caked.....and of course being that she played him when she thought he was a janitor... he had no rap for her afterwards...
moral of the story... a nigga like that woulda heard a chick say that at a cook out, and be like..

Oh and btw living paycheck to paycheck isn't broke, you just want a man that is more financially flexible. Broke is someone that ain't got no money. A person can have ambition and want better for themselves it's just that they're living paycheck to paycheck.
