After listening to Cain on an interview with NPR, I think he would be a great pick. He is a straight talker doesn't give the run around. Actually has clear answers for the problems that are ongoing. He doesn't speak with eloquence but who cares he wants to actually get things done, at least it seems.

Anyone who is mad at the 999 is a baby on the governments teet. This dude will actually make my life better with 9% income tax and many other people. The down side is the sales tax but I can live with that because I don't buy many new items anyway. Look at taxes now they are out of control. 999 will make your pockets fatter.

If 999 makes youre life better then that means you must make alot of money and youre tax is getting reduced to 9%.

To say that a person that opposes the 999 plan is on the governments tit is asinine. Anyone that makes under 30k will be destroyed by 999, but of course nobody cares about the poor so i guess the thought would be who cares. Anyone that claims earned income credit or child credits on their income tax will get fucked over because that would be eliminated.

Only thing that Cain has for him is his oratory skills which he's honed by being a Motivational Speaker. He's flip flopped on his stance on Abortion, he's blatantly lied about his stance on the border fence, and he's lied about these charges of sexual harassment.

Anybody that follows Cain is a sheep. If his speaking skills is what entices you then hell Tony Robbins could be youre candidate.

Poor Cain....I almost feel sorry for him now. I wouldnt be surprised though if Republicans like Cain even more after these allegations, theres something about dishonesty, corruption and Republicans that turns Republican voters on.

In fact.........

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/01/herman-cain-fundraising-sexual-harassment_n_1069400.html

WASHINGTON -- Herman Cain had one of THE best fundraising days of his presidential campaign on Monday, raising $250,000 in online donations despite reports that he had been twice accused of sexual harassment.

The quarter of a million dollar haul made for "one of our best fundraising days ever," Cain's campaign chief of staff Mark Block told a D.C election-themed conference sponsored by the National Journal. Cain himself said on Laura Ingraham's radio show Tuesday that since the story broke Sunday night, "the fundraising has increased significantly."

Obama........meet your challenge for the 2012 White House run. I honestly believe Cain will be the nominee for the GOP. I called it first. He has the most energy and grass roots support in the Republican party now. Romney will be a strong contender but I think Cain is on his way to taking this.

You really believe those polls that claim his VERY BLACK ass has the lead in the South Carolina Republican Primary?

LOL

You know what South Carolina..........is........right...?

And this is before you take into consideration the thousands of pamphlets detailing Cain's DISRESPECT OF WHITE WIMMEN that will now be printed up and placed snugly into screen doors all across The Palmetto State.Team Romney oppo research for teh win.

I actually like the concept of 999.

A 9% income tax would give people a lot more money to spend.

Since we're in a consumer-driven economy, the more people spend the more jobs are created...and with more people being employed more people will be spending money.

Basic economics.

Now, usually prices go up when businesses know that people have more disposable income...but the 9% sales tax would keep the prices from going up too much and might actually bring prices down a little bit since companies know that lower income people would be hit hardest by the sales tax.

Maybe a 5 or 6% sales tax would be better or it might be best to leave the sales tax as is.

Either way, 999 might not be the perfect tax plan...it might need to be "tweeked" a little bit, but anything that gives people more money to spend would be better than the tax system we have now.

Spending=more jobs, more people w/jobs=more people spending, more people spending=even more jobs, and even more jobs=increased tax revenue without taking as much from each individual if we have some semblance of the 999 plan.

But im not getting where the plan is putting more money into peoples pockets. The only ppl that would have more disposable income would be the ppl that are already rich who in turn dont spend as much money as the middle and lower class in which this plan would actually raise taxes on.

Alot of businesses make most of their money during tax time and X-mas time. Tax time would mean nothing because the credits that ppl claim that gets them the huge refunds would no longer be available. Now the ppl that just paid payroll taxes and no federal taxes would now have to pay federal taxes so the 999 plan would actually hurt those ppl instead of helping them.

Corporations and the Upper middle class to rich are the only ones that would benefit because their taxes would be lowered from around 15% to 9%.

Lower income people spend most of their money consuming. A 9% sales tax would be in addition to whatever they are currently paying in their states and basically evaporate whatever gains (1%) they saw from having their income tax reduced to 9%. The idea that a conservative candidate would want to increase sales taxes is backwards and completely opposed to what conservatives stand for. Government NEVER wants to give up revenue. Once you add an additional stream of revenue with a Federal 9% sales tax, whats their incentive to get rid of their local sales tax?

How would businesses be able to lower the price of their goods if they are paying an increased tax on everything they purchase? And for those businesses that dont purchase new goods, what would make them pass their "savings" to the consumer? A general sense of goodwill towards man has never gotten us very far when profits are involved: see oil companies, airlines, sneaker companies, banks, etc.

I'm not saying you can't ever have a flat tax, just be aware that the purpose of a flat tax is to increase the base (bottom of the tax payers pyramid) and decrease the already low taxes that top earners pay.

The Occupy Movement has every right to hate on Obama. Obama spending billions overseas while the country is in massive debt, while millions of Americans need more jobs and affordable housing is the height of irresponsibility. Wall Street got bailed out with trillions of dollars by TARP and the Federal Reserve, so why can't hard working college students who can't find a decent paying job get a bailout?

Fuck Obama and motherfuck Cain. Obama and Cain are both two sides of the same coin, and both are sellouts.

He has the most grassroots support right now and that means almost everything when someone is running for the nomination of a party. Cain is also ahead of the pack by 7 points, including Romney.

I could be wrong obviously but we should all admit that right now, Cain is the frontrunner of the GOP nomination.

Remember: National Presidential Primary polls mean dick, word to President Giuliani

HA! I completely forgot about that dude.....still though, Cain's been ahead for awhile now, and Romney seems to be hated by the Tea Party. I say 70% chance Cain takes the GOP nom but like I've admitted, I could be wrong. Cain's poll numbers are actually increasing since the scandal, and talk radio people are in love with him (for some reason unknown to me).

You're right it's still very early but the energy is on Cain's side. Go to hannity.com if u dont believe me lol

i don't think we should all admit this, especially if we don't think it's accurate. Cain is buzzing in the polls; Romney is the frontrunner for the nomination.

How is Romney the frontrunner now? Cain is ahead in most polls now.
