All great points, it seems Gingrich is on the way up now. He treated his ex wives horribly though and has an even bigger woman problem than Cain does. Gingrich divorced one of his wives on her hospital bed while she was dying of cancer!!!! LOL...
i think his daughter claims that's not EXACTLY how it happens ... but honestly, it's what everyone thinks about him. he comes off as incredibly unlikeable and he's not beating Obama in a nationwide election.

honestly, i think if the Republicans run anyone besides Romney or Huntsman (and they're not going to run Huntsman), then Obama crushes them. you know i think he's going to win anyway so we're not talking about a real world difference either way, but if someone like Cain or Gingrich is the nominee, i think it's going to be embarrassing.

Pretty much I dont understand why Huntsman isn't picking up any traction amongst Republicans. It might have something to do with him working for Obama for 2 years. Obama was real smart to snatch him up before he became a real threat

people should take note of herman cains rise. It is clear that it isnt average Americans supporting this guy. He is a minstrel puppet saying the things that a white person could never say running for the highest office and get away wit it.

he's also not playing into the worst of the base, which i think is what makes Bachmann-Perry-Cain-Gingrich have their alternating moments, and he's got the same "hating on Mormons" problem. and he may just not be aggressive enough.

Agreed, it's becoming more and more obvious that he's playing exactly as his "peers" would like him to.

Ok, Janklow you win, Cain is completely done. After this flub, his candidacy is OVER. This worse than Rick Perry forgetting 3 times in one debate the 3rd agency he'd eliminate as president, SMFH haha this is hard to watch......
funny thing is, i was about to throw this out there:

CNN Poll: Gingrich soars, Cain drops
A new national survey of Republicans indicates that it's basically all tied up between Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich in the race for the GOP presidential nomination, with Gingrich on the rise and businessman Herman Cain falling due to the sexual harassment allegations he's been facing the past two weeks.

According to a CNN/ORC International Poll released Monday, 24% of Republicans and independents who lean towards the GOP say Romney is their most likely choice for their party's presidential nominee with Gingrich at 22%. Romney's two-point advantage is well within the survey's sampling error.

While the level of support has pretty much stayed the same for Romney, the former Massachusetts governor who's making his second bid for the White House, Gingrich has seen his support jump 14 points since October.

The poll also indicates that 14 percent back Cain, down 11 points from last month. Four women have alleged that Cain sexually harassed them during the late 1990s when he headed the National Restaurant Association. Cain denies the allegations.

Herman Cain needs to get familiar with the Ballad of Michael Steele.

They find blacks to talk shit when they dont get their shit together.

As soon as Rick Perry gets right, and gets Romney as his running mate,

they will discard him like Godfather's pizza.

first page post.

The republican nominee will be Gingrich. He is the only one who can face down Obama in a debate.

If Gingrich is the best Republicans can do now, Obama is gonna win in a landslide. He's unpopular for the most part and only 25% of voters will vote enthusiastically for him in 2012, but damn Obama must be doing the electric slide with Michelle seeing Republican clowns in action. Still smh at Cain for his grandpa moment on Libya, lol WOW

READ EM N WEEP, KINGBLAZE!

As Ari Melber has pointed out, ("Cain prioritizes stops on his commercial book tour over time in primary states, which led the Washington Post to dub his campaign 'the World’s Most Expensive Book Tour.'") there are several indications that Herman Cain isn't particularly interested in moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. He's not bothering to build the kind of organizations that are needed to get people to the polls. He's not bothering to campaign in early states. He's not bothering to do any of the things that turn buzz into votes.

But then, why should he? Being president is a thankless job. Running for president as a GOP candidate? Just about the best paying job you can get with no experience, no knowledge and nothing but an overweight ego.

Why shouldn't Cain "run for president" as a profile-elevating exercise? Sarah Palin earned an estimated $12 million in 2010 (that's better than Rick Ross did rofl) as a celebrity Republican woman. How many of last cycle's candidates for the GOP nod went on to television shows, radio platforms and big book contracts? Just about all of them—except the guy who "won."

Where being a Democratic candidate can leave you working for years to fill in the financial hole, being a GOP candidate has proven to be an extremely lucrative profession. GOP voters have an insatiable appetite for being told what they already believe, with bonus points for covering it with a heap of psuedo-evangelicalese rhetoric.

Herman Cain isn't running for president. He's running to be the next Sarah Palin. He's not competing with Barack Obama; he's battling for bandwidth against the Kardashians. Charges that he has engaged in outrageous behavior? If Rick Perry wasn't passing out the info, Cain would have to do it himself. Would you bet against some cable network tossing a few million to the Hermanator for a series focusing on his invaluable business insight as he tours around his pizza empire, croons the occasional tune (with celebrity guests) and gets down with The Little People? Would you bet that the negotiations aren't underway right now?

Herman Cain doesn't have to worry about the general election, or his harassment coming back on him, or learning the president of Uz becky becky stan stan. The only thing he's worried about is that he might accidentally win the nomination. That would really hurt his plans.

Haha, well there you go. As I admitted in this page, Cain now has no shot of winning the nomination and likely wasn't serious to begin with. He ran to increase his book sales. He probably doesn't even know how he got this far. Frankly, I don't know either.

Gingrich has zero chance of being president.

All these Republican candidates are the sideshow to make Romney look better.

The Republican base and talk radio people didnt like McCain either and he ended up being the nominee.

Sorta like when Gore won in '00 and picked Lieberman.

So if history tells me anything its that Romney is gonna be win the primary, pick a clown for his running mate, and lose in the general election.

Democracy is the illusion of choice.

I agree, but to be honest Obama is not a shoo in for the election next year. 61% of whites disapprove of Obama now, and Obama's Hispanic support is vanishing badly, I saw on CNN the other day that only 49% of Hispanics support Obama now. The economy is key, if only low wage jobs are being created, as it seems is the case now, Obama is in deep trouble.

50/50 shot of Obama winning in 2012. It's gonna be way different from 2008.
