shit they would elect a black woman first
heyslick;3533936 said:The same group of people who helped Obama win will vote for Cain....they will just count there loses and vote another black man into the white house, experience really doesn't matter in this country any more.....it's all about the color of his skin. The white guilt trip is just the way things are today. Those white people who voted Obama in are also the same type who partake in the Wall street protest. I'm kind of surprised that the illegal immigrants haven't jumped on the band wagon? OH I forgot they got jobs and free health care all ready....sorry! carry on.

bmoreeast;3590996 said:I definitly disagree with youre whole post. Cains appeal has more to do with his politics then his race. Just like Ustreet said in the other thread Cains banter appeals to the conservative base. Perry is always caught like a Dear in the Headlights during every debate so he lost his appeal. Romney flip flops on all the issues and isnt really a true right winger so their hesitant to back him.
Anybody thats considered lower middle class to poor would be a fool to vote for Cain. His whole 999 plan would eliminate all child tax credits and earned income credits. So for all the people that make their money off letting people claim their kids or people that put their kids on their taxes that shit would be over with. Not to mention everybodies taxes would actually go from paying nothing to paying 9%.
I think politics has went past all the Black and White race thing and is more about Rich or Poor.

kingblaze84;3598742 said:Excellent post, and it's one of the reasons I think Cain has a great shot at wining the GOP nomination. Romney is still unpopular amongst Tea Party members, and we all know they rule the Republican party now. Cain has a 75% chance of winning the nomination in my opinion, his rise in the polls reminds me of Obama's rise in 2008......Cain would be a horrible president though.
lighthearted25;3604347 said:No way he will win. He is a black male version of Sarah Palin. He isn't as dumb as her though.
fullfledged;3624704 said:After listening to Cain on an interview with NPR, I think he would be a great pick. He is a straight talker doesn't give the run around. Actually has clear answers for the problems that are ongoing. He doesn't speak with eloquence but who cares he wants to actually get things done, at least it seems.
Anyone who is mad at the 999 is a baby on the governments teet. This dude will actually make my life better with 9% income tax and many other people. The down side is the sales tax but I can live with that because I don't buy many new items anyway. Look at taxes now they are out of control. 999 will make your pockets fatter.
