And that happens a lot. Guys who were nerds growing up, couldnt even be around black pople, but then get older and become DJs, videographers, etc....b/c they had the resources we didnt...I dont rock with that.

I know these new nggas wanna hold hands and have this 'no boundaries' on hip hop, but bototm line no old white guy is gonna be able to CONNECT to OUR culture 100%. Period.

...then other posters act like Wale sat down and made a conscious effort to make a song for "White bitches" when he has said over-and-over again in interviews that he didnt have any artistic control when he was on Interscope with the Europeon Mark Ronson and Jimmy Iovine.

That isn't highlighting society.. thats pandering to an audience and saying, "imm make a song cause people don't like the dark skinned out here, and then going around and saying, "imma make this song for the valley girl cause even though she rich she deserve it, and she'll love that im talking about her"

if you think 90210 was strictly a track for "valley girls" thats where your already going wrong ..... if you think that shades is a track soley for "black girls" then again thats were your going wrong ...if you think that becuase one track is a so called black girl song and the other one is a white girl song and because of that they cant exsist on the same record thats where your going wrong ...if you cant see the issue of a WOMANS (race excluded) need to be accepted and her willingness to go to all measures to get that acceptance being talked about in 90210 ...thats where you went wrong ... if you got caught up in the title or the hook and ran off of that instead of the content of the lyrics and the message thats where you went wrong ...if you didnt get 90210 methorical representation ...then ...thats where ......... well i think you get it by now...

The criticism, dislike, hatred and vitriol is not being aimed at the legion of pop-rappers and culture-bandits in our genre...it's being aimed at our brother and our comrade in the "resistance".

This is the backlash you can expect when you drop a 100% organic album with nothing but Soul, R&B & HipHop...people don't get it and they don't understand were you are coming from with it.

As a fan this really hurts me deeply and I find it disturbing that on a momentous occasion when we should be celebrating the triumph of one of HipHops future superstars we are instead criticizing his passion and diversity.
