I feel like most of the detractors are fans that honestly sees Game potential and want him to be a better mx lyrically.

Y'all niggas know all the brands and shoe names he raps about is for sponsor reasons right? Even Rolex Records isn't something he just does it's cuz they prolly invested a part or get a part for trademark reasons, same thing with Maybach and MMG.

Nigga reps a real hood so you can't take no street cred away like you can with Ross who was actually working for the police. No one can't say Game don't got heart. I can't think of one nigga that dissed him that he ain't dissed back and you can make an argument that with the exception of Joe Budden no one has gotten the best of him in a wax battle....all this but if you let the IC tell it Game wack as fuck. Its a shame, because when he can limit mentioning Pac or Dre, he can actually spit a decent verse.
For example.. My favorite verse from Game on GP is his 2nd verse on "See No Evil".
I can feel you on that. Its like he feels he needs to do that as a part of his "gimmick".
Personally it doesnt bother me since hes been doing that since day one, it just ends up taking away from the lyrical ability he does have.

Everybody I mentioned has namedropped random rappers names before or took some lyrics here and there and got a pass for it because the music was cool or whatever. Game got Documentary which is a classic and other very good albums, I just dont understand why he dont get the same treatment and pass other rappers get. was anybody doin songs exposing video chicks on "wouldn't get far" before him besides maybe the Pac song "Skandelous"? If that were Common doin that song you niggas would give him props for the concept and everything.
