Game's name dropping: Does it take away from his music?

Didnt pay it any mind he is repetitive at times. But overall a good artist with good albums.

Game is talented he took styles and pulled them off almost too good. But he def has his own style the last two albums he's adopted other artists flows but to me he still comes off as game.

Ross does name drop quite a bit, but its not as excessive and for 5 consecutive albums like Game..at least not in my opinion..so no it doesn't bother me when it comes to Ross

Cosign all the posts in here. Crazy thing is i didn't catch on to him until i heard LAX(i didn't cop doctors advocate) and damn near every song he mentioned jay, beyonce or an athlete. Once i saw the trend i stopped listening to his music...but his new album goes hard.

No where did I say Game was a bad rapper or didn't have a solid catalog, but the name dropping shows lack of growth and creativity as an emcee..not to mention it makes a lot of his verses sound a like when he's name dropping the same rappers, athletes or celebs over and over..

Him not having his own style and mimicking others style is what takes away from his music.

thats why hes called "The Game", he can do a song with any mc, mimmick there style and do it just as good if not better, he has his own style but thats just what he does and to me it doesnt take away from his music, I think its a talent and adds to his music, as far as the name dropping he does it in a creative way so I never understood the issue with it, the fact that hes bi polar and the some of the shit he does outside of music is the reason people try to figure out reasons to hate on him, I think hes underappreciated as an mc

I just don't get why Game is singled out and getting docked cool points for something most suceesful and respected rappers have been doing. If y'all gonna knock him for it y'all should also knock Eminiem, Chino XL, Big L, Jay Z, Ross, Ludacris, and Lloyd Banks for doing the same thing just as often. Jay actually bites niggas lyrics which is even worse and you guys say stupid shit to justify it like "don't get mad cuz he got money" or "he still wins cuz he's married to Beyonce" just the stupidest have nothing to do with nothing shit when it comes to Jay.

Why doesn't Game get his just do on this site? Game gets consistantly dope beats, has one of the better catalogs, his worse album is LAX which compared to other niggas bad albums like blueprint 3, Nastradamous, melvin flint, "yeah baby" any ross album and the last carter by wayne LAX is a thousand times better than all those albums. Nigga reps a real hood so you can't take no street cred away like you can with Ross who was actually working for the police. No one can't say Game don't got heart. I can't think of one nigga that dissed him that he ain't dissed back and you can make an argument that with the exception of Joe Budden no one has gotten the best of him in a wax battle....all this but if you let the IC tell it Game wack as fuck.
