Dont he got like 17 kids....all them niggas aint seeing him regardless of his career

Right

Sometimes sacrifices have to be made

But it just feels wrong coming from someone who has 3,4 baby mommas

Running around chasing after other ppls wives

And supposedly has a drug habit

Being objective? He kinda right. His kids do gotta take the L in order for him to provide. It ain't like the nigga can do anything else.

I understand his frustration and the difficulty one would have with that but at the same time...

He also got to realize that when you knowingly put your kids second that rubs folks the wrong way.

Like porn star bitches taking multiple "money shots"

Shit, I just found out about the "dabbing" dance move.

I was wondering why all this blacks kids was talking bout chewing tobacco.

I grew up like that, my pops was working 24/7 and I really only got to see him on the weekends (if that). My moms hated that shit but she held it down and I was the man of the house. We had a lot of friction when he actually did start being around more because I was used to being kang of the jungle so to say. But damn he really sacrificed a lot for our family and it was all for the best. thanks pops

Kids going to be mad either way until they old enough to understand. If you broke but home they don't like it. If you rich and rarely there they don't like it.

I make a good living and I'm home, but my skill set allows for that. If all I could do was make music, guess I'll be gone.

so let me ask you this....

how do you feel now as an adult, knowing you treated or felt like that towards your dad and all he was doing was trying to provide for his family? from what your saying, he was working. not tricking, living with another family, smoking up the money, gambling it away or buying shit for himself. straight working for his family...

how do you think he felt, coming home with that type friction from you and your mom? amd here he is just working?

im curious

I was never mad at him for not being around, because I understood he was providing and not playing any games. As I got older and more mature we started to talk about it (his job, his sacrifices, what he would've done differently) and he drops game on me. He said it killed him that he wasn't there for the important moments, but his focus was to get us everything we needed to succeed in this world. We had a great childhood & once in a lifetime opportunities because of him. He moved us out of Camden, NJ and we lived around the world because of him. He said the sacrifice was that he wouldn't know us very well as kids, but as adults we'll bond and become best friends. He was absolutely correct.

I got something in my eye.

but nah...real shit. I applaud your pops.

this is shit we all need to strive for.

alot of people dint understand this. I can not begin to tell you the shit I went thru with my kids, their mothers, my wife and friends as I was working my ass off.

in the end....my wife stuck by my side and held it down.

I always tell her, if we ever divorce, she can have whatever she wants ...damn near everything. just don't touch the shit in the DR.

lol

but seriously... too many people want the lifestyle but not the sacrifice. man, so many things I can add to this.

again....you pops is that nigga

Reminds me of the Boruto (Spin-off of Naruto series) Naruto is the village leader and in charge of thousands of ninjas and his dealings in the global world, but his son is mad that they never spin time with each other. Watch it, it's a great movie. The bond of a Father and son in a ninja fashion.

u can m either have alot of time and lil money or a lil time and alot of money..

he has kids everywhere so his time was go be sparce anyway..

but say in a typical relationship..

i believe in gender roles..

even when it comes to parenting..

its not the father's job to be in his kids face all day every damn day..

thats the mother's job..

a man's presence is needed in a household..

not his appearance..

my steppops worked two jobs..

daytime gas company.. night time fedex but he moved m my moms brother and sis out the hood..

between 3-5 we had to be quiet cause he was sleep..

he was never home but i guarantee u his presence was felt..

and even when he became a fire fighter he'd be gone days on end..

we was straight!

And this is party because he decided to have kids with multiple women.

If he didn't, this wouldn't be as big of an issue as it is.

So yeah, him not being able to see his kids is still largely his fault.

I can cosign what he sayin, I've had to do it missed some important occasions and events due to me workin but there was never any " wants or needs or we aint gots " 90% of the shit I paid for I my wife had to remind me I paid for it.

I aint buying...I had a father so I know how important he is...That shit can´t fly if you rich like him he can invest and just lean the fuck back.People make all kinds of excuses to live that life.

Wish I could give a hunnid goats to @bkkbully @2stepz_ahead and @BOSSExcellence posts. They had great men in their lives, and are great men:

Was having this discussion with my lady the other day. Told her I'm going to do whatever it takes to make sure her and my baby girl get the necessities and wants in their lives. I do what I do for them, and theirs times where I'm traveling all over the country and not there. She understands and holds it down. I always tell her if it doesn't work out between us, I'll always take care of her. I just hope when my daughter gets older she understands.

the shits not zero sum though. your children can be properly cared for and get quality time with you without you take advantage of every money making opportunity that comes your way. i know plenty of cats in the military that are at 20+ years, some who were enlisted and went commissioned at 30+, and they refuse to retire against the wishes of their spouse and children, even though the benefits of remaining on active duty and moving every 2 to 3 years are negligible. at some point people gotta be honest with themselves and admit that their families aren't as high on their list of priorities as they think.

how he gonna say his kids are the ones that need to make sacrifices when they aint ask to be here tho? lol He was the one who chose to have all them kids and create multiple broken/ single parent homes. He should be the one making sacrifices, not his kids. Anybody that creates 4+ fatherless homes is a scumbag anyway.
