This was a dope ass episode.

Smh, Cat did Jim dirty. Nigga looked out for you all this time and you bout to let him get his throat slit.

Wasn't expecting Maronie to take one to the head.

Next season looking real strong.

it made NO sense for kat to join fish......none.....shit was stupid way to make her a part of the episode

Maronie dying was unexpected and how is Bruce finding the bat cave now?? They better be doing an alternate universe and have Bruce get a time jump and become Batman earlier or some shit.

I think it's to further enforce that she can easily go over to the dark side.

My exact thoughts.

She had no ties to the crime world and her entire character development has been about a bad girl with good tendencies. Then out of the blue she's Fish's lieutenant in an imminent 4 way mob war? Get THEE fuck out of here. That alone made me dislike the episode.

What's funny about Fish is that I only began hating Jada's acting when she had increased screen time and they spent so much time building this elaborate excuse for her to come back to Gotham. But once she came back and had to share screen time with Penguin, Maroni, Falcone, and Gordon, I was fine with her.

Maybe becUse it's literally how every Disney character died in the 90's animated movies, but I hate the "falling to his/her death" trope. As soon as they Penguin went to the rooftop I was like "Really? He's going to push her off the building? Why can't she just catch a slug to the stomach or a knife to the throat?"

Marconi's lisp made me laugh the more I heard it. All I could think about was "I'm Scott Malcolmson and I have diabetes." I liked the way he died. I figured she would take him out but I didn't expect it right then and there.

Nygma's dissent into insanity was lazily done. Didn't like that it was over that chick, but I'd be willing to accept it if they made it work. But she shows him the note, walls away, and then he starts having flashbacks until he's insane? I just think they could've done better.

Bruce found the secret pathway beneath the mansion. Great. He won't use it for another couple decades.

My favorite part for me was Gordon and Falcone. It's a shame to see Falcone leave because he brought so much gravity to every scene he was in. And you can tell Gordon respects him even though they're on opposite sides of the law. Lol but Falcone said "This nigga Penguin is too damn good AND out of his damn mind. Fuck this shit, I'm out"

5/10 episode

I haven't watched any new episodes since Gotham started back up in mid-April so I'm totally out of the loop. I will be catching up on the show between today & the weekend but I have a serious backlog of shows I haven't watched (DVR is good to have but makes you lazy in not wanting to watch the programs).

The thing that I don't like about this show that has turned me off towards it is that the whole show moves at a snails paces with it's storylines & characters. At some point, they are going to have to age Bruce Wayne as we all know where his story is eventually going to lead up to. It's only so long before fans get restless with the show & the slow character development before they tune Gotham out.

Right now imo, Season 1 "The Flash" >>>> Season 1 "Gotham"

You missing the whole joke -- "Cat""Fish" ....as we been catfish. Also a Cat eats Fish...what gonna happen eventually if they follow comic form, Selina takes over the underworld. Penguin will be King for a while tho.

penguin coulda killed fish in a better way.. i thought it was mad lazy and anti climatic..... we all knew it was coming, it was built up alllllllllllllllllllll season....but in the end....it was wack

No body, no death. Just because Jada isn't returning to the show and Fish took one in the stomach and fell into the river doesn't mean she's dead. Don't be surprised if she pops up in a future episode one day.

They should have had Boss Zucco as one of an underboss, a consigliere, or a capo in one of the families. It would have been cool to see him and the Penguin vying for control in Gotham during the next season.

yea, i don't see how penguin doesn't murk maroni right then and there....

I thought he needed Maroni alive to start a war with Falcone so he doesn't have to be under his thumb anymore. Besides, he doesn't want his mother knowing he kills people.

And how old will he be when he finally becomes Batman? 19/20 years old?

I think he's 30 in the Dark Knight trilogy.

I think it did, considering that she 'crossed the line' by killing someone and she's supposed to be a semi-villain.

I admit, I don't know a lot about the Batman comics (I've only read Batman Earth One volume 1).

With Barbara killing her parents I'd be surprised if she still ended up marrying Gordon so I want know if the show will follow a radically different course than the most common Batman tropes.

Seems to me they're setting her up to be some kinda villian. That serial killer dude done unleashed something inside of her.

He unleashed her inner freak.......that bitch cray!

I'm done with this show, but in the comics did Jim Jr. and Batgirl have the same mother? Maybe Barbara will pass the crazy gene on to a son.

So Gordon's fiancee killed her parents and likes to fuck Montoya... and Gordon had no clue about either?

Fucking Detective of the year right here.

To be fair he has no reason to investigate either.
